I noticed a 20 whp gain with my bushur delux(for sale) on a stock turbo!!!! Who knows with the 3071!

Thanks guys
you're right, upgraded ic piping gives you the most power....however i dont agree with people saying they saw no gains. you can get gains off a bushur delux ic with the stock turbo, so i think its safe to say you'd see gains on the 3071.

i'm glad to see you're getting cams and you can get tuned for free whenever - once you pick up cams and a front mount, along with a new tune, you should be good to go. also, whats the deal with a dc manifold on your car, didn't the atp kit come with an exhaust manifold of its own?

no...they are meant to bolt up to the stock exh mani. So any stock style header will work.

how did you 'notice' a 20whp gain? was this confirmed on a dyno or track?

It was comfirmed on the dyno, basically I dynoed my car, then added just a header and the intercooler, I made 40 more whp. I know that either one of these components on their own cannot be responsible for a 40 whp gain. I deduced and split the difference and attributed 1/2 to each one. Buschur cliaims about a 15whp gain on a stock turbo w/no mods...so the gain might even be more.

i am getting 8psi of boost at 3500 and full boost that is 17.5 psi at 3900 rpms on my ATP 3071r turbo kit...
How would you rate that as. Good spool or bad. What rpms does the stock turbo get the same amount of boost at??

My power fc got shipped a little late will have it in 2-3 days till then 17.5 psi is the max i am running cuz the injectors and power fc will go in together and then i'll have the car tuned.

This spool is completely untuned. From what i have heard with proper tunning I might be able to pick up 200-300 rpms better in spool.. Is it correct.

thanks

Was the pull in 3rd gear? If it is, spool doesnt seem so bad to me. Cams might help you out a little bit as well as some tuning couln't hurt.

I will check as I had a 3rd and 4th gear run and these numbers I took from the Greddy e-01 playback feature.. It might be 3rd or 4th gear. I will do a new run tomorow in 3rd only.... Also someone told me that the conversion from Maf to Map will also help... is it true... Cuz i am getting the Power fc D-Jetro that is the map conversion.

Otherwise I think this spool is as good as stock or is it not.. and plenty of power uptop unlike stock... I am luving this kit everyday

thanks
