Evo8LTW,
No, the White Rabbit was left on my 04' RS when I sold it. I'm getting the deal that FP has on the exchange for the IX turbo. Basically, it's $895 plus your good core. I'm having it ported also which is an extra $45 dollars I believe.

White Rabbit exchange is $849, but honestly it makes more sense financially to sell the WR and just buy a used Evo 8 or 9 turbo. I just bought a 9 turbo, and am haveing that exchanged. I looked at a few 8 turbos, which were 250 bucks cheaper...but the turbine housings were way too rusted for my tastes.

BTW,
If anyone needs one, I have the stock turbo off my 2004 RS that was removed at 8,000 miles when I installed the WR. I'll let it go for $200 plus shipping. I believe that the exhange fee for those is $999 which would bring the total cost of an FPGreen to $1199...... not too bad!

That has a 9.8 turbine housing though no?
Yes, but there is a thread somewhere on here that states it's actually a better deal because they upgrade the housing to the 10.5.
I'd check with FP to make sure, but from what i've gathered, it's a steal to do the exchange with this turbo.

Yeah, if you can actually get them. I'm going on a 2 month wait here. Which IMHO is B.S. when they advertise the product as being in stock ready to ship, especially so when Robert himself takes my order on a Thursday and tells me it will ship that following Monday. What is it with ethics and business...oil/water???
So... you have been waiting two month already?
I ordered mine on the 13 and ETA was two weeks. I am hoping that they will expedite the order as promised.

hondafan,
here's how it works: I paid $1500, They are sending me an FPGreen(20G9LT), poted, w/HP actuator & install kit, shiped. Upon installation, I return my 05 VIII turbo and they credit me $300 back to my CC, which means I paid $1200 total price for an FPGreen / 20G9LT turbo kit!
I just couldn't pass up on that deal. Beats paying $3600-4000 for a GT30R. I'll use the money saved elswhere, like upgrading to some June 264's from my BC 280/272's.
This is the best deal to be offered to the Evo community, period!
