Seriously, why even post a graph like that? Thats not doing anything for anyone here other than showing us the car has serious issues.

Why would you even post a graph that looks like that where clearly the car has serious problems
Because even with those problems, the car put down respectable numbers. It certainly hints at great things to come, that's why.

Comeon Charlie, thats a retarded comment and you know it. Horsepower doesnt win races. A multitude of things do and horsepower is only one of them.
I am still tossed up on this notion after years of street and track drag racing.....I think hp=mph and trq=E.T. So from a roll it will depend on what mph cars go from. There are SOOOO many variables that no one can win this argument...its all in what you want. I know that for the track I would take a properly set up big turbo car any day over the smaller street turbos...There is no 4000rpm and below racing on a drag strip in an evo!

You can say hp=mph and tq=e.t however, when going on a roll, that initial torque is a huge start and so is the response. Response and lag and things like that really dont apply in a dig race since 1st gear is so short and everywhere after that the races are at high rpm. For instance, my brother has a 1G DSM with a 3076 on it. When we do roll-on races he has to play catch up and even at 125mph we are still even until we shut down. If we do a 1st gear roll or a did race I play catch up. Alls Im saying is that the hp argument is very deceiving and doesnt tell the whole story.

Saying he doesn't hit peak torque until 5700 rpm is myopic. It's basically a flat line from 3900-6000 rpms.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing; the boost had hit much sooner than that and stayed level, but there a little blip higher than the rest at around 5700.

Myopic? What are you, an Ophtho doc?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but are GSC S1's designed for Evo 9's or do they make both MIVEC and non-MIVEC cams?

I'm interested in getting some GSC S1 cams and an FP EvoGreen turbo upgrade but I'm already putting out 325hp/320lb-ft of torque stock cams/turbo... those numbers honestly look quite bad.

To anwser your first two questions- Yes and Yes
GSC is in the vendors sections and there are a few threads talking about their cams explaining everything in detail.

hp/tq numbers vary depending on the dyno but they seem high to me.

Adam just called and his first pass (at the track and in his evo) was a 12.0 at 116mph with a 1.75 60 ft on pump gas.

I forsee 11's easily in the 2nd or 3rd pass.

I must admit, I was hoping for better traps than 116 on pump...

Hope he breaks into the 11's!
