I posted these in the wrong thread a few days ago, so thought I would post them here, since this is the GREEN thread. I just completed tuning my son's Evo IX.
Mods are: Deluxe FMIC, PTE680's, uic, custom LICP, HKS 272 ex., Snow water/meth injection, 30 psi boost on Evo Green, 3" BR turbo back exhaust with SS O2 housing. Results on new, very low reading AWD Mustang Dyno 370whp/ 403 wtq. Nice curves and very little hp drop off above 6500. Max torqe hit about 3850. Cam timing proves to be very helpful throughout the range.

I don't know if you've noticed the weather in Oklahoma, but, EVERY weekend for the past several weeks, it's either rained or snowed. NHRA rules kind of limit what a fast street car can do. I'm not going to put a cage in my own and ruin the daily driveability. I'm sure my son's is on the edge of needing at least an NHRA rollbar. Locally, I'll be renting the track to get some times. Sorry for off-topic response.

I ran on pump gas Wednesday night. On the stock turbo the car went 12.3 at 110 with a very low 60 foot of about 1.62 or so. The snow tires were hooking up well on the NOPI prepped track, I had a 1.59 the day before. Wednesday on the green, which gave me 65 whp on pump gas, it went 12.1 at 116. I couldn't get better than a 1.78 sixty foot, most in the 1.8s. It was just too cold (30 degrees). James was trapping 124-125 on race gas, but snapped a rear axle on the last run. As soon as I pulled out of the pits I got a mean transfer case whine. We're both done for a while. James did log some retarded airflow numbers, from 52 lbs up to 54 lbs. This compressor wheel must get a good bite on the 30 degree air. When I maxed it out at 49 it was probably 45-50 degrees.

In more happy news, I got the Revolvers installed. These cams are MEAN. I like them much better than 280s so far, much faster spool, but I can't get a good WOT comparison until the tcase is replaced.

Same EVO Green. Otherwise it wouldn't have been relevant.

I never thought i'd say this but I hate the fact that I cannot get out of the 12's on the green and pump. Today went 12.2, 12.4 ,12.7 all around 112-115mph. The wind was 25mph i nthe wrong directions so I am sure that didnt help. I'm sure it'll go 11's as soon as its 60+. So far I love this turbo, with race gas it'll be silly.
