The Ebay 02 and ported mani IMHO is all hype.... I tried those mods and gained no power...
Matt comeon, only a couple select people hit 450whp with a 50trim on pump and it was with worthless torque. On top of that, MOST 50trims are around 480whp on meth or race with the exception being some people like Charilie who really maxxed it out at around 500.This guy has STOCK MANIFOLD, STOCK 02 housing. No 50trim kit has a stock 02 housing or stock log manifold. Apples to apples please. This dyno shows potential that there is some left in there.
Also, trinydex. My stock turbo lost power like "woah" after 6500. Does that make it not great? I think not. For $1000 exchange, this thing is the bomb.

Charlie its people like you that make me laugh when you say things like that. Torque is the biggest thing I want my car to have. Youre talking to someone that has probably 500-600 roll races in the last 2 years in my car. I basically do it for a living. Dont try telling me things like that. Ive walked on 400whp cars for the last year in my 380whp car. My spool and torque was everything. If you think for one second youre going to tell me about roll racing, youve got another thing coming.
I myself gained over 25whp from the addition of the 2 and thats on a stock turbo on pump gas at 23psi.
To keep this about tq, I have revolvers and on race gas I have all my tq(391lbs stang dyno) at 3700rpm

torque is a static measurement..
torque over an amount of time is horspower..
in a race, it doesn't matter which you have,, as along as you have a bunch of one of them all over your rpm band.....

Torque is what breaks the inertia of the car the second you go WOT in a roll-on.
Watch a few videos of roll-ons between 35r/42r Evos (i.e. AMS) vs Cobras and Vipers.
Those guys get the jump out front because their crazy low-end torque, and from then on the big turbo Evo has to play catch up using its top end power - which it can provided 1) it has a significant HP advantage, and 2) it has enough time to catch up before the race is already won by the other car (i.e. 45-120mph)
