1)knock from the down pipe, ruled that out with a hammer adjustment , I data logged and it still had 2-3 knocks early in 4-5 k rpm range.

2) couldn't richen it up, possible fuel delivery problem, need to check fuel pressure, gauge on order.

Did you use the install kit when you put in the pump?

No, I was under the impression that it is a new filter, my car only had 4 k miles on it, fuel pressure test normal after all.

It has a different washer in the install kit that if not used causes flow issues at higher rpm. I know of at least 2 locals that had similar issues with fuel delivery and neither had used the install kit. They put it in and WHAMMO the problem was gone.

question:

ive been reading alot about this turbo and im 99% its my next mod.

can i run this turbo with a stock ecu (flashed), and are larger injectors over stock absolutely necessary?

my supportin mods are in my sig, are there any other major supporting mods that are absolutely critical to run this turbo?

how much power would it make? (guesstimate)

1) Yes, you can run it on the stock ECU

2) Yes, most (including Buschur) recommend larger injectors (~750cc)

3) You have pretty much all the necessary supporting mods (an upgraded FMIC would be perhaps the only thing to look into)

4) Your current whp + about 40

Nice numbers!

I think somebody is selling an Ebay O2 housing in the classifieds for like $70... Pretty sure if you still have the stocker on, you would stand to pick up 12-15whp/tq and possibly better spool with the O2 housing alone...

That would come out to be $5 per whp!!!
