Unless you're using a MAP sensor, most readings are probably a little off.
I have my boost controller turned all the way down, we tried to get it to lower but it just wouldn't. It's pretty high I know but...
Do you have the Forced Performance Heavy-Duty actuator or the standard actuator? The HD actuator can´t be adjusted down below 18 PSI.

Also, you may wanna check whether your actuator has too much preload on it. If it does, then adjust the actuator rod to where it slides freely on and off the peg on the flapper valve pivot arm.

Here's mine for what it's worth. Mods on my car are:
HKS RS intake, HKS 264/272 cams, SS O2 Housing, Forge RS BOV
walbro fuel pump, MBC, 680 injectors, SMC Meth injection,
BR Turbo back exhaust, BR Race FMIC, BR UIP, BR LICP, highflow cat,
Exedy Twin clutch...I think that's it for major upgrades.

Here's a dyno from my 03 stock turbo @ 26psi without SS O2 housing
and 10.5 hotside but wit all mods above. I don't have the dyno sheet
for after hotside and SS O2 added but it gain 7hp/6tq.

Here's 20GLT on same dyno @ 26.5psi on ECU flash(92oct+meth) .

I only did 2 pulls on 20GLT. The 2nd pull, I crank the boost up a
little over 1psi (27.9psi). It made 370hp/361tq. So I gained a few
hp but lost a few tq.

Blue Evo 8, how much boost did you run on your 50 trim dyno? How much torque did you put down?

Was this with race gas or pump and alky? I'm planning on adding
280 cams and straight pipe and hopefully hit close to 400 on mustang dyno.

Wanted to post up the experience we had on a Evogreen we tuned on meth, major boost, zeitronix with all safeguards and swapping from IX metal BOV to FORGE Evo15 with red spring.

I added the FP Evo green, running just pure 92 octane gasoline at 24psi, I went from 295whp/307TQ to 355whp/356TQ. JEstr tuned the car, and man, I cant say enough about this guy. The car runs so dang smooth compared to the dynoflash tune I had. Its really night and day. Not to mention my fuel milage has increased over the custom tune I had before. JEstr is definitely THE artisan of the Evo tunes that I have had. And he didnt call my car a piece of crap one single time either

Full setup is as follows, and its identical to the previous setup minus the turbo and injectors:
264/272 cams
K&N Drop in air filter (Stock Air Box)
Perrin Turbo Back Exhaust
Perrin Fuel Rail
PE 680 Injectors
FP Evo Green

I think I may need to look into getting the meth injection now since I see it allows for huge gains with this turbo. One thing I noticed right away is how much more boost you see at partial thorttle, and the sound it makes is wicked awesome!! Makes my nipples hard everytime I hear it!! I should also note that my car, for some darn reason, has always had low WHP numbers when compared to others. Guess thats what I get for buying one of the first ones in PDX. FP and Buschur did an amazing job on this turbo, and I highly recommend getting one!!

One other note thats VERY VERY important. If you install this kit and use your stock turbo outlet pipe (cold), it will push up against the starter and cause a direct short. YOU MUST RE-ROUTE THE STARTER CABLE, or you will be in for a nasty surprise. I am working on a write up, and should have something done here this week.

Thanks to FP, Buschur, and special thanks to Anthony and JEstr.

First time for you bumping up the boost on the 20G-LT past 29 lbs. ha?
Sort of old news.
Forge RS BOV with stiff spring, crank'd up, we have boosted past 35.7 psi and maintain'd 23-24 psi to 8000 rpms. Using the up-graded 18-24 psi actuator.
Fun times, scary ride, . Lots of C16 needed.

I've seen mid 30s on my Gus-modded 1g BOV. I still think this is the best all around BOV for both driveability and ability to hold high levels of boost.

No, it was a FORGE Evo15 valve.

Boost was estimated in the 38-40psi range on our meth kit.

This was the first Evogreen on meth that I am aware of as we tuned it months ago. He came back again from Maryland to FL to get it retuned before shipping the car to Guam where he will be stationed for the next few years.

Point is, the BOV was the main boost holding issue whereas we were originally concerned that the turbo would fall well short of the boost capabilities advertised. It still and will never hold in excess of 30psi at redline as another vendor had marketed it, but it definately turns out much more air at lower RPMs.

.
NEVER ever use an Evo8 turbo outlet on an Evo IX turbo or any turbo based of the EvoIX compressor housing. You will risk fire, battery explosion, an acid bath of your engine bay amongst other potential hazards. Buy the correct Evo 9 outlet pipe.

The ARC of the Evo8 outlet pipe on the starter is enough to cause a fire, but not enough to blow the fusible link for whatever reason, so just don't do it. Any rerouting of wires is riggary in my opinion when the correct part is only like $45.
