Bigger Injectors?

I just got flashed and was told not to use my bigger injectors right now. It would only cause problems with idle and driveability.

what is everyone's experience with this?

I figured since more boost needs more fuel, hence the walbro and injectors.

With the mods you have now you're ok. If you're looking to go with a 20G in the future like your sig states, injectors are going to be needed however..

you need to be tuned. the whole idea of tuning is so your car knows what to do with those bigger injectors and fuel pump

WTF! I'm so confused by this injector crap. I read the most information that I can get my hands on about whatever I am trying to learn about. i.e. injectors. Last I read was a thread where Ted B. commented about 680cc injectors would be the best for use with a 20G LT. Also, use the smallest injectors you can while meeting your maximum fuel needs. Someone else posted that stockers could actually be sufficient. Now, I'm reading that 720's are maxed on a stock turbo, and Alan678, is going to use 850's for a 20g LT. I understand that with an AEM you can pretty much do whatever you like, within reason, but what's the real scoop?!

Trust that Ted knows his stuff.

The stock injectors see around 90-95% duty for me, stock /w TBE @ 20psi. You can also help your duty cycle with a simple fuel pump.

Not without low FP or a poor tune.

650cc are fine for a 20G LT.

keep in mind that running overly rich will raise the Injector duty cycle significantly

for what it's worth, Buschur told me that with a 20G LT setup 680cc would be ideal for pump gas boost levels. However, 780cc would be ideal for someone that's going to run race gas boost levels.

I went ahead and put a walbro fuel pump in while I'm waiting for my exhaust, cams and injectors to get here and the car is significantly richer so I had to rework the tune. I'm not sure if the stock injectors will be sufficient for the cai, exhaust and cams though.
