Angry 2 Problems in less than 5 min!!

So today was a nice day weatherwise, so i took a short drive around town. As i accelerated to get onto the freeway, *BANG* car sputtered and lost all power. First reaction i said to myself, "gotta be the IC piping" Got to the side of the road, and popped the hood, sure enough the IC piping was off. So quickly i tightened the clamp down, and that was that. So got back into the car, and put it in reverse to back up, and what do u know, reverse is locked out!! I CANNOT get it into reverse, no matter what i do, just grinds, or pops out. NOTE: I just got the ACT street clutch installed last week, and Ive been babying it till 500 miles. 477 so far. So i just drove it home and parked it. Problem, i park at a port that you HAVE to back out of, so any advice how this happened or a quick fix, please let me know thanks!

Problems have been known to exist with the ACT clutches and their engagement. Check under your hood to make sure all the shifter cables and linkage are fine and nothing popped off or whatever.

Just a thought but try to put in reverse with motor off and start it while in reverse. It may work to get you backed up to get out of the car port. Beyond that maybe the clutch just needs adjusted?

^I have seen that write up before, and i will try that this evening. If it is still locked up, then I will take it back to the shop where it was installed. Thanks for the input everyone.

Have tried both of those suggestions, but it just will not engage into reverse. It will pop into a spot like its in reverse, but as soon as i let the clutch out, it grinds or pops out. I will try to do the clutch adj asap, but until then i might get stuck somewhere without being able to back up!
