no start ?

Weird issue, i was messing with the wastegate regulator all day long, finally ended up fixing it, drove 20 miles. and now the car wont start.

It just clicks once, and wont click after that.

I can hear the fuel pump priming. Is there many a immbolizer that will cause the car to freak out?

Did you happen to unplug any engine harnesses? Are you throwing any codes?

Check the starter it sits kind of underneath where the wastegate is, maybe you knocked a wire off of it. I have done this before.

+1 on the starter - just wiggle the connectors around a bit then try. I have run into this before

Great call, scottatayamaha. I didn't even think about the starter being so close to the wastegate.

I thank god i have a dual fuel pump setup.

my primary fuel pump has failed, i rewired it, and now its running.

edit:

actually, I dropped a socket near the starter working on it yesterday, and some how its messing with the starters ground causing it not to work properly, so now i have to pull everything apart and look for socket.

Do you think the E85 caused your fuel pump to fail prematurely?

Your socket must be sitting on the ground causing it to short. You are having some bad luck my friend. You used to wrenching on the car though, coming from turbo Hondas like me.

actually the fuel pumps are fine.. the socket was sitting on the therminal causing it to "deground" the starter..
