You're sure it's the clutch rattling? Maybe the A/C compressor bearing?

I'm sure it's fine, mine does the same thing with my stock clutch. Your idle will drop as well, which seems to makes it even louder

same here. Its the clutch because if you depress the pedal the noise will diminish significantly. AC eats a lot of power from your car, when it's on, you'll feel like you're driving a geo metro..

hahaha yea, the A/C button actually turns off the turbo and has it blow air at you instead of the engine. haha

so is that normal as well for a twin disc to be that loud especially when slowing down ... and is it bad to let the clutch chatter like that

well when evos idle you get a good amount of vibrations through the body of the car, and just as how your steering wheel shakes so will the clutch. Can't really do too much to avoid that. you can prob get some dampeners if you REALLY wanted to. As long as the clutch was installed properly i don't see it being a problem... but i guess that brings up the question of the installation...

well it shifts fine and seems like a great clutch just extremelly grabby i can get used to that just slowing down coasting or with the ac on i hate the thing but having it do that noise it wont hurt the cltuch or flywheel chattering? as long as it wont do any damage to the clutch i dont mind just crank the radio up more , if it dose more reason to get a new clutch haha

I have a stock clutch on an EVO that has low miles, and I have the exact same noise (only at ide with A/C on).

If I depress the clutch, rev the motor, or turn off the A/C, the noise goes away.
