a/c noise
when i idol with the a/c on i have clutch chatter noise is that normal??? i dont know what kind of clutch i have i do know its aftermarket from wehn i bought the car i was told its a twin disc clutch and lightend flywheel... but should it be chattering at idol ... when i push the clutch in it goes away
alrite sounds good haha thanks i just havnt used the ac i didnt know if that noise was normal .... yeah i think it is comming from the clutch beacusae when i push the cluch in the noise will go away, its a loud clutch especially when i declerate in speed i hate it
same here. Its the clutch because if you depress the pedal the noise will diminish significantly. AC eats a lot of power from your car, when it's on, you'll feel like you're driving a geo metro..

well when evos idle you get a good amount of vibrations through the body of the car, and just as how your steering wheel shakes so will the clutch. Can't really do too much to avoid that. you can prob get some dampeners if you REALLY wanted to. As long as the clutch was installed properly i don't see it being a problem... but i guess that brings up the question of the installation...
well it shifts fine and seems like a great clutch just extremelly grabby i can get used to that just slowing down coasting or with the ac on i hate the thing but having it do that noise it wont hurt the cltuch or flywheel chattering? as long as it wont do any damage to the clutch i dont mind just crank the radio up more , if it dose more reason to get a new clutch haha
Probably not even the clutch my AC has always been loud, and its a different noise than the twin disc, theyre loud but different, my a/c made noise with the stock clutch, stock exhaust, stock everything
I have a stock clutch on an EVO that has low miles, and I have the exact same noise (only at ide with A/C on).
If I depress the clutch, rev the motor, or turn off the A/C, the noise goes away.
