EVO Green, 93 octane, 30 psi of boost and a dyno chart
ditto! I use only Shell 93 and used to run my car with 25 PSI. 0-3 knocks depending on how I handle the pull!
30 PSI.... I am not sue that I want to run that on Puerto Rico with freaking Temps at 90 and humidity 96+.
Congrats on the numbers!

Martin,
I think I covered everything you've said already in this thread.........thanks for the input. One other things, since I caught hell, it's time for you to change your signature

Good example of the varying levels of pump gas......
We just finished a build on an EVO9, Stage 4, ported intake, 65 mm throttle body, Green, ported exhaust manifold, SS 02 housing, 3" downpipe, some else's 3" cat, someone else's catback, Cosworth cams and the AEM EMS.
I started tuning the car yesterday and I had a hell of a time tuning it. On pump gas couldn't make the power I wanted.
I then tuned the car on E85 and the car made great power, ended up at 394 whp at about 27 psi of boost.
The customer wanted to drive the car around on E85 and then on pump gas, double check the tune and make sure he was happy. (drove here from Chicago and didn't want to have to drive back)
After he was happy with the E85 he came back, we drained the tank and put 5 gallons of Shell 93 in it.
Him and I went for a drive in the car. The first time he floored it I was thinking "This car is a freaking turd, I can't believe we built it." I didn't way anything to him and I pulled up the log from the pull he just made. I noticed the knock count was completely different from before, as in non-existent. I told him, "That's very odd, the tune has completely changed since I tuned it yesterday." He tells me, "I got 93 octane on the turnpike yesterday, why is it different?" As soon as he said "turnpike" I knew what it was. I asked, "Was it at Valero?" He says, "Yes." I instantly added 4 degrees of timing, still no knock.
By the time it was done I was able to run an additional 7 degrees of timing and still have less knock counts than I did on the junk Valero gas.
The next few runs on the car were a blast, the additional timing completely transformed the car from a turd to a winner.
You do have to be careful tuning at these levels on pump gas, more so if you are changing brands.
STAY AWAY FROM VALERO for SURE

Actually the pistons aren't bling bling but won't give more power. The engine is stock bore with 55,000 miles on it, same compression ratio as stock. Also not sure if the custom header I built is better than a stock manifold or not, questionable.
