EVO IX Oil Leak

I have an oil leak that seems to be coming from the back left side of the engine if you are looking at it from the front. The oil can be seen on the alternator and when i park up it drips down to stain the floor. I have had the car serviced at Steve Hill and they looked at they cleaned it all off, did a visual inspection and couldnt trace the source.

This weekend i had new rotors and pads fitted and again looked into the oil problem, i had the banjo bolts near the area changed and that has not resolved the issue either.

Does anyone have any ideas what may be causing the problem in that area? any suggestions welcome as i really need to resolve this, it has got steadily worse and now smoke simmers off when i stop at traffic lights so i'm keeping it off the road until its resolved

is your valve cover leaking? pcv line off?

and make sure that not just the banjo for the oil feed for the intake cam gear is tight, but also the large hex fitting it goes into!

how many miles/km in your evo? did anybody take the valve cover off. most leaks usually comes from the valve cover or the oil cap. the next thing I would check would be your steering fluid since the pump hose goes a long way from the back to the front on the left side. other than that it can be oil plugs, engine head gasket if it was replaced(modified). if you bought it new and was never serviced beyond maintenance then it must be something unusual.

Dude I had the same exact problem. When I was installing my injectors last night, the PCV hose was completely off.
