If these readings were true on a DynoJet, you could probably make the power you are wanting on a 30r with the built head. Just comparing my power to your wife's evo (knowing the difference in dyno's that I use and you are compared to) I would say with meth right now you could be around 350whp (Dynojet numbers) or even a little more. With the built head, cams and a 30r on 91 and meth, you could probably get close to 500whp..again I'm talking amongst a higher reading dyno. So if you were to go to a dyno day with a different brand, I wouldn't want you to be disappointed if you were making less than 450whp after seeing a 500whp pull on a previous dyno.

I'm about done for the night......... Best of luck to you and your wife. Have fun and be safe with all of those "Beasts" in your garage. I'll check back later to see the outcome.

I am not sure about setting the bar, but dynojets are probably the most commonly used and respected dyno. Mustang dynos are referred to as heart breakers because they are the lowest reading dynos out there. Dynapacks read the highest, but are really good for tuning.

Prior to upgrading your turbo, I would recommend TBE, cams, intake, walbro and a custom tune.

I feel those #'s you posted are way off. No stock 9 turbo with IC and piping makes that power, BUT if you want to make 500hp using your data log gadget then adding the mods I mentioned would get you 400.

Like I said, your data log reads high. No matter the point, you need cams, TBE, intake, walbro to get to 500 anyway. Just buy them now.

i know what your trying to say
the fp green 20g should in no way cost more than any garrett GT ball bearing turbo
the fr green is over priced because it makes good power on evos. retaines the stock twill scroll setup. spool good and is 100% bolt on.

if there was no evo this turbo would be much cheeper and should be way cheeper than a garrett gtR turbo

dynojet corrected #'s is what I deal with. At over a mile high our corrected #'s are always dissapointing.LOL

I need to quit man I have one hell of a day tomorrow.

A front loader hit an 8" gas main at the power plant, and guess who has to fix it?

I don't know if those numbers would hold true on a dynojet, but that is what the DLL is stating and people on this forum seem to respect DLL. With the AMS 3" TBE, I am expecting the numbers (according to DLL) to go from 337 to over 350 with tuning. Adding a AEM short ram intake should push it over 360. Again, all according to DLL.

Going with anything other than a FP green would mean that we'd need an entirely new turbo kit, and if that is the case we wouldn't f*** around and would get a GT35R.

It isn't with an IC and piping alone...it is with a Hallman MBC set at 22psi.

If you are looking for a potent DD than I would really consider the ATP GT3071R kit! It is a very easy kit to install and I am very happy with mine for the money. With a few bolt-ons and a reflashed ecu I am at 401whp at 21.5psi and 93 octane. It spools really well and pulls all the way to the end.

We will have the Evo dyno'd on a dynojet once the AMS 3" TBE is installed and tuned.

Have fun fixing that gas leak.

I think it is a bit high too, and am by no means bragging, but am simply posting what DLL says. It could be a factory freak...

I haven't ever seen a IX with the stock turbo even break 300whp with the stock exhaust on our local Norcal dynos. You would be lucky to hit that with cams on a stock IX turbo even with exhaust, test pipe, fmic and all the supporting mods. On a Dynojet, you might see the numbers you are expecting. I hope you do.

As for Mustang Dynos being known as heartbreakers...I don't think that way. When I race another Evo that dynoed 50 whp more than me with the same mods and I outrun them at the track, then it just makes them feel like a really sh!tty driver Not to mention, an Evo will hardly ever be a dyno queen. Dyno's, to me, should simply be used to see the performance gains a particular car has made with upgrading it's parts.

Why would anyone compare a modified car to a stock car? Just get a 35r and spank your hubby all day long.
