Stroker & turbo question

Hey guys,
I have been looking arround here for a while and cant seem to find the answer I am looking for. I am wondering if anyone here is running a 2.3l stroker with a stock turbo (8 or 9 turbo) and if they had a dyno graph available. If you are or had ran that setup, can you list the other modifications that were on the car too?

I've seen videos of a 2.3 with a 20G Green turbo. Didn't have exact power outputs, but I can imagine a huge increase in torque/low-end power. Quicker spool probably 500 revs sooner already on a stock-like turbo. I read somewhere that a 2.3 stroker does about 15% more torque than the 2.0.

Yeah, right now I have a evo8 tme 20g that I was trying to sell for a 3076 but it looks like I will have the engine done before I sell it. I was just wondering how an evo on that setup acted like on the street.

From what I understand the stock based turbos will run out of breath at higher RPM's with the stroker engines. If you have a 20g I suspect it will be quite a good setup, as that turbo breathes quite a bit better....but if you are looking for peak power numbers, I would say find another turbo soon.

I have the 3076 on a 2.0l and its a perfect balance of wait, vs "go".

On a 2.3l it would be a VERY punchy car. You will like.

I can't imagine a 20g on a 2.3l. It would be like a light switch.

I will have the answer within a couple weeks or less. My engine is being rebuilt as we speak with the 2.3. I did not expect do rebuild so soon, but that is another story.

I currently have the Evo9 TME. I will also be running the 272 cams. Should be a real fun car. I will eventually change over to the GT35R...

We are in the same boat, my friend. My engine is suppose to be finished this week/weekend. I have a Evo 8 TME 20G, but I wanted to sell it for a 3076 or even a 35R. I havent been able to sell it, so no bigger turbo for me

All in time. I have owned my car since the first week the evo hit the streets in the U.S. An ernormous work in progress. I wish I was a baller, but that might have taken the overall fun out of building it piece by piece. Its cool with me, it just happens to work out that every six to eight months I do something new that keeps the car exciting. Good luck, we will have to compare numbers on the evo9tme vs. the evo8tme turbo and our mods!!

Well as it sits right now my setup will be;

HKS suction intake
Evo8 TME 20glt with ported 10.5
Megan O2 housing
Megan downpipe
Maxford Stainless exhaust manifold (no antilag ports)
custom downpip back exhaust with turndown instead of muffler
AMS hard intercooler piping
AMS 3in intercooler (first gen intercooler)
Evo9 Diverter valve
Buschur Racing ported intake manifold
780cc presicion injectors
AMS like large bore fuel rail
light porting on intake & exhaust sides of the head
Iconal exhaust valves
Brian Crower 280 I&E cams
Brian Crower springs & retianers
AMS balance shaft delete
AEM wide band O2
Defi gauges
Walbro 255 (working on getting a dual pump setup for the future)
ARP head studs
ARP main studs
Eagle 100mm crank
Eagle rods with ARP bolts
ARIAS stroker pistons 8.5:1 (can hold 40+ psi)
Excedy twin disk
Having a friend do a custom ECU flash for the break in period then going to TOPSPEED for a custom tune on the dyno.

If I can sell the 20g, I will have a trick *** T2 manifold and downpipe to go on it, I want to get a 3076 or a 35 to go one it. But it takes money to do so

Oh, I have 0 exterior mod's Trying to keep the "stock" look
