then, i have a friend that makes A/C & hydraulic lines that is willing to make me the lines i need with -8 female fittings. BAM.

I already have the -an fitting for the fill hole, just have to get one for the drain. It's easy enough, i should have started this project long ago.
There is the pump by MOCAL.

I like the first one you linked. MSRP on the second would double the cost of the project LOL.
First one is than the Tilton. Bonus.

I found it cheaper from a Porsche racing part dealer....but i had to get it as a package (oil cooler and fittings)

But the Setrab pump looks just like this MOCAL

I'm looking at $350 for everything. I can't complain about that. Worth it, IMO.

A good Stacked plate cooler would also be more efficient at keeping temps down.

Derale is built like Setrab Coolers.

Probably. I'll upgrade if the first setup doesn't cool well enough.

Location can be important on how well the cooler works, Or add a fan to boost cooling too can help.

Looking forward to your setup Kaj

I will build mine once engine and tranny break-in is done, and i get off my butt and relocate the ACD pump.

i plan to put mine in the opening for the grill. As for the pump, i'm hoping to work something out so I don't have to move the ACD pump... that looks like a pain in the a$$. It looks like there may be a spot next to the ACD pump i could use. I'll have to take some measurements.

I am using this pump for trans cooler..

it is only 5 inches tall, and cost me about 70 USD..

There are also much larger versions that we are using for somethign else..

There is a better place for returning oil to the trans. There is a plug on top of the trans that I use, and the fill plug is left for oil temp sensor/thermostat that is wired to switch the pump on.

BTW, I have a brand new tilton pump for sale..

$70? Must be nice! LOL

I thought about a thermostat, but just gonna run it during track sessions. Switch on, switch off. Less wiring lol
