You will need an upgraded intercooler fo sher. Down the road maybe do cams and injectors and go from there.
AMS has it on sale for the holidays for $650. Just picked one up myself. I plan to do a 35r in Spring/Summer.

You need to worry about other things before you worry about head gasket.
You dont' need head gasket, head studs unless you are running more than stock boost.
Stock intercooler will not be efficient with 35r so plan to upgrade.
You need bigger injectors along with that walbro.
Basically you will need
A good turbo kit put together by a reputable vendor such as AMS, BR, ETS, FR etc etc
Bigger injectors to support fuel for added air. (720-1000cc0 depending on the power level.
Upgraded FMIC and pipings to keep the air cool.
Camshafts to help spool, midrange, top-end power
Head studs and possibly gasket if you're running higher boost pressure.
Good multiplate clutch to hold power level.
Built bottom end for 500whp+ power level for insured safety
Built tranny, transfer case if you will be drag racing alot.
hope this helps
