to me, there are many nice qualities about your new header, 1st, the length of straight coming out of the port, the bend following is minimal, the long straight section to aid in extraction & the nice feed to the collector!

now, did you make a turbo support or is the support made out of the 4 pipes

WOT, no support for the header, I don't feel it needs it. If the same tubing/flanges can support the HUGE GT42R on our black car I am confident in it holding this little baby turbo up! haha Seriously, the tubing is really thick, header flange is 3/8" thick. I have yet to see any of this tubing crack/break when it is unsupported.

vwjeff, all you have to do is decide what you want and bring the car! I'll take care of you.

First, my car has had this extremely raspy exhaust note around 2500 rpm forever.


My car with the 35r had the same thing..god did that suck..awesome build.
