not sure if this qustion has been asked, but what the rough cost to a adverage Joe that turns up with his car and want this kind of power?? also how long dose it normal take to complete??

thanks Chris.

PS. maybe its time you started doing a BR600 kit! lol

He posted that on page 3...

And for us IX guys, if I had the money I would buy the last few things to see if in fact a IX could make just as much power. I remember asking Dave a while back if there would be a cam for the IX that he would produce and he told me there were already a good number of great cams for the IX, so I took it as a no, so I don't think there will be a BF 272 for Mivec, unless David says other wise.

If I was running HKS 280's the power would be down a solid 50 whp.

I am not making cams for the EVO9. I've made 647 whp on an EVO9 with the Cosworth cams. I'd say those would work just fine or the JUN's may even be better.

It takes 2-3 weeks to complete a build like this. Cost is about $25,000 from stock to these levels, doing everything with the best parts.

Wow, I had no idea the gains were so large on the BF272's. I knew they were nasty cams but I never thought they were that nasty.

David, I really hope you will do a dyno thread like this for the GT3076HTA which just appeared on the FP website last week. I know it won't be making any pump gas records. But I would sure like to see what it can make on pump, no meth, given supporting mods similar to what you've been using on these 35's. And what I would love to see even more is what it makes at say 4000 rpm - because I want a mountain of torque at around 4000 rpm like what you guys get with the evo Green. Mountain of torque down low, and maybe 450 Mustang awhp at around 7000 rpm on pump no meth. What do you think? .63 a/r T31 turbine housing pahleez - let's see how this little baby spools!

Thanks,
Gary

any plans to make this a BRXXX package?? if it works and seems a popular setup you may as well market it as one. also might tempt some people. i personally think it would be quiet an atractive option to most people.

and can you see the threads on here? "i want 500wbhp what do i do???" answer "justy get the BR600 and be done with it!"

thanks

Chris.

.
thats crazy, how would the JUN 272's fare? Have you tested Tomei's pro cams? They have massive lift, more than ive seen for an evo, how would this affect driveability?

How would these cams rate in order from least agressive to most agressive; BC 280, GSC s2's, Tomei pro 272, JUN 272, Buschur BF272?
