moosa,
so from my understanding from your last posts, you beat a Z06 with the a unfinished tune!! not bad. and just 27 psi

hello justin,

20gLT (aka evo green) is, in my opinion a better turbo for daily driving..however this HTA35R is a turbo that you can also daily drive if and only if you can live with a little bit more lag...i am talking about no power whatsoever before 4500rpms and then suddenly the hardcore orgy party begins!!

however if you insist on using this turbo as a daily driver yet you cannot tolerate lag...a perfect setup for you could be a 2.3L + this turbo..

anyways with all the turbo options available for the evo nowadays i am sure you will find something that fits your needs...thus you have to know what your needs are first before you know what turbo to get...

this turbo is made by forcedperformance, thus you can choose which turbo KIT you want and you request them to opt for that turbo ..

Mine is Buschur Cast Kit...i really really love it since its so stealth and the cast manifold is life long!

AMS and ETS offer this turbo option as well.

Mate thanks for the info. What about the HTA 3076? Where does this rate with you guys, would you say it would fit in between the 20glt and the HTA35R? My car is just a sunday car so I could live with the lag I guess.

How much better say lag wise would the 2.3 with the HTA35R be compared to the 2ltr?

Sorry for all the questions mate but I pretty keen on that hard core orgy party....lol!

since your car is a weekend warrior,,,just like mine..you should do the following..
get a ported head, big cams, turbo kit and a big **** intercooler...install it on your stock 2.0...drive it for sometime see if you could live with the lag...based on that only then decide if yoou want a built 2.0 or a 2.3

this is what i did and i am convinced that the 2.0 is for me because i could live with the OVERRATED lag and i would love to have a wider rpm range.

the 3076..hmmm...i dont think i would get it from what i have seen and heard..it has a pretty bad lag for the gains you will get when compared to the 20g...

a 2.3 will approximately lower the lag by ~400 rpms.,,however will also lower your redline to ~8000 pushin it...people could argue that you could rev it to 8500 but at that rpm..the piston speed is ridiculous and IN MY OPINION it is only a matter of time before your timed bomb goes VJKHKJBOOOOOOM!

all of the above is nothing but my opinion...

Thanks again for the info. I am leaning towards the HTA35R because I know I will regret it if I dont go that way. That said 2Ltr or 2.3? Can you point me in the right direction on pricing for this turbo kit and other esorted goodies and I promise I wont harrass you anymore.....thanks again mate
