HTA3076R vs FP3065

Well I always see threads comparing these turbos to the HTA35R but what about comparing these two? What's the spool up like for these two?
What power do they make on pump?
What power do they make on meth or race gas?
All this based on dynojet numbers.
This is also being based on stock block, head, etc. With all bolt ons.
I'm debating between these two setups but I'm not sure which would be better.

I have the 3065 and after looking at the dyno plots from the HTA 35R and HTA 3076R I would say pick one of the other two. The 3076 will spool a bit sooner but be down on power, the 35R will spool a bit later but make a ton more power. The 3065 probably won't make much more power than the 3076 but will spool noticeably later. If you need early spool, get the HTA 3076R. If spool is not as important, get the HTA 35R.

I'm shooting for mid 400s on pump and close to 500 on race gas. The HTA35R is a sick turbo but I don't have the money to build the head to rev high enough to get the full potential of the turbo and I'm not looking to build the block anytime soon.

based on that ^^^. HTA 3076!!

Both turbos will get you low 400s on pump. 500 on race gas is easy for a 35R.

But does the 3065 make better power than the 3076 or what is it about the 3076 that would make me choose it over the 3065? Keep the advice coming!

You could come close to, if not actually hit, 500 with the 3065 on race gas. Jarrod @ buschur hit that on c16 I belive with stock block and head and not too much in the way of parts. I'd imagine you'll come close to 500 on race gas with the 3076 as well. If that's like your max goal on c16 for the track, get the 30 series and keep some spool for the street!

How much faster does the hta3076r spool compared to the 3065? And what were your numbers with you street tune on pump?
