Buschur mini battery kit

I've contacted the friendly folks over at Buschur Racing regarding this strange issue, but seeing how it's Friday and my car is minus a battery I figured I'd try here too

Does anyone have a pic of how everything on the mini battery kit should be connected? I know it's a pretty self explanatory deal, but I've noticed I'm unable to get all the connectors to reach the terminals on the battery. I've turned the battery in both directions, removed some of the tubing holding the wires in place, and yet still can't make them reach without stretching the hell out of them.

Any pics or advice would be appreciated...guess I'm the kinda guy that needs bright colorful pictures and instructions written for a 4 year old

Well when I first got it the battery was turned around inside the holder, which was what first confused me. I didn't think I would be removing the negative line from the grounding spot on the strut tower, so the only option was to flip it. At least now I know I'm doing it right, even if it means loosening up the wires to help them reach.

I'll give it a go tomorrow and I'm sure everything will go smoothly. Personally, I prefer to have some form of instructions when installing just about anything...if only to prove everything is as it should be. If I had that I could have seen the battery was backwards right off the bat and saved a bit of time.

I read a comment from waaay back where the folks at Buschur considered putting instructions on their site, and I really hope they follow through (although that post was in 2005). They have some awesome products and a simple, single-page instruction sheet showing how everything should be could save a lot of time (both mine and theirs, since I wouldn't have to IM them with stupid questions )

Why do alot of you guys go with the "mini battery" or Lawnmower unit instead of relocating to the trunk? Results are better in terms of less clutter and more space in engine bay resulting in cleaner look, better weight distribution, while still allowing you to run a good larger battery with alot of CCAs.

much easier to just intall a small battery kit when doing the intercooler piping upgrade. Its more in the way then on the eclipse/talons when doing this so that is why the companies had put this out plus you save weight.

Because most tracks require you to have an external shut off switch if trunk mounted which 85% of this forum is not willing to do to their trunks...

^No, seriously, I didn't f*ck it up...I'm just as confused as you are...

^...but yes, these wires, with their "refusing to reach," really sucked.

^Next weekend! ...once I get my new ramps built...then I can reallllly break some stuff

Mini battery is definately in my future. It really cleans up the engine bay and takes some of that cluttered feel away from it.

Looks nice pupo, that pipe and connector reminds me of SSAC products.
