I'm considering every option

that would def be the cheaper route but hell, when you mod a car to the point to where you are considering an electric water pump then you've prolly already spent a TON on your car lol

the main thing I'd be concerned with is how well it cools. Because I do drive my car a lot on the street, even though it is not my daily driver anymore......I love the car too much to just let it sit all the time

Just like Johnboy it seems mine took a crap on me after a 10sec pass in the pits.

Now i'm really skeptical about using a re-man piece is it just me or does an oem mitsu part sound better?

I'm more concerned about the price of an electric pump and the fact that i do still like to have the ac/ps ........i just don't want to be changing pumps often so i'd consider an electric in that instance.

Have you guys experienced a lot of water pump failures or do they seem to hold up?

Most searched threads on water pumps are from years ago.....

I'm using an electrical water pump in the zEvo. I CNC milled a custom plate so I could remove the stock pump.

nice fabrication. could you provide more information about your electric water pump setup like the pump you used, mounting location, etc.

I'll try to fix some photos for you later on, but I have attached to the bottom outlet of the radiator, I've also removed the thermostat.
I've done this to free up some extra hp on top and also to maximize the cooling as I'm using an Laminova heat exchanger instead of an oil cooler.
