I love hearing a turbo spin down at idle with a straight pipe. I thought my BR 3" tbe, test pipe and bullet muffler was loud until I thought I'd try a straight pipe...haha that was a whole different level of loud.
I recently tuned a customers car with a straight pipe and header...I really should have worn hearing protection, I damn near blew my speakers out on the way home trying to hear the radio

haha straight pipe...very nice!
I threw the muffler delete pipe on my car once and drove it around the block. It's awesomely loud and I would totally roll that way if it wasn't for the cops.

He got stopped during our last tuning run. We went full throttle right BESIDE the man who was on I-35. He never even mentioned the exhaust. Probably because he was dumbfounded by our audacity to take the car out in the first place. He asked for License, Proof of Insurance, and "Oh, by the way, your tags expired". That was when we got off on just a 'contact' report. Nothing, nada. Luck smiled down on us that day. We didn't have the proof of insurance with us, he "CLOCKED" us at 80 or 85, tag expired. Nice cop. He knew of us I think, since our bedroom community is small enough that when you know 1 cop, the others at least hear the stories. OKIX knows one of them fairly well. Good thing.
I will call you guys before the weekend, as I would like to know when the car will be out and terrorizing said 1/4mile stretch.
Can't wait.
Here's the new look of trailer and car. Still waiting for a couple of other sponsors to get their decals to us. Father and son are living a dream and having fun doing it. Thanks from the bottom of our hearts to Forced Performance, Buschur Racing, Swift Springs USA, Wilson Manifolds, Superior Concepts of Edmond and various others for all of the help. We will continue to do our best in not just results, but in our attitude toward others. We appreciate everything that has been done for us.

Yeah, the tape drives Tony nuts. That's probably why I leave it on. It pays him back for all the years he drove ME nuts. Indy, did you see the 'funny' comment? I wonder what else we could do, hmmmm.....
Thanks Jorge. We're just about ready to get back to racing. Now, Tony's trying to get used to the new clutch. Tomorrow I'll be doing some final checking and detail work. I look forward to getting back to Houston. Maybe in the fall.

Thanks Rob. Hopefully it will be at the track in a few days.
