David I was just wondering if you could give us a hint??? If a certain wastegate was fixed so the gate couldnt leak and hold all the boost it would hold?? Another words is this car like Curt Browns car when he had the welded wastegate??? Not trying to pry just wondering???

I tuned Curt's car when it set the records it set actually. The wastegate was not welded at anytime I ever tuned his car and this is the first time I heard this new rumor.

This wastegate is not welded, that is rediculous, no need to do that. As a matter of fact is is hooked up to an **** pit adjustable boost controller that I was adjusting myself to adjust the shaft speed of the turbo where FP wanted to see it run. We could have and did go higher than the 38 psi shown in the screen shot I posted.

Yes, this radiator/water pump is going to be made available.

You know, back on the topic of the wastegate. It gets very-very old answering and putting up with all the crap here. The rumors that get started are so rediculous. A few weeks ago I had to spend a week answering PM's about the special T4 housing I had on my HTA35r, this rumor was started here on EVOm by another vendor and spread quickly. It gets old. I know it's hard for many people to accept that talent, tuning, parts combinations, drive, hard work and of course money can actually all work together to produce results, but believe me, it's what works the best.

Sorry David i was just wondering at what boost level this thing was making peak power at! I didnt mean to step on any feet when i said that. Im just like the rest of these guys looking to see how future testing is going to turn out on this RED. Nice build and nice tuning!! Another question if you dont mind, how much did the boost fall off up top? To me it looks like this RED is holding boost alot better than the GREEN!! Anyways im sorry if i made you mad on my previous statement!! Great job David!

You didn't make me mad, I am not getting mad anymore on here, I am attempting to convince myself of something "it just doesn't matter" 9sec9 told me to say that 3 times before I want to shoot someone from now on

Indy, glad to hear he did bring the part, I wasn't sure he remembered to grab them. Thank you. Looking forward to this. You may want to make a few, depending on price, looks like a couple guys are interested. Glad you liked the install, looking at the power it made it all worked well together.

I didn't know you were sending valve train parts for a John Deere, damn his stuff is porky. Is this the stuff the other guys use? I just read your note, now I understand why your stuff runs so well, it's not draging all the extra weight around. Indy

True story. The Green was rated at 47 lbs/min, and I tested it to just over 49.

~60 lbs/min in this format is awesome... If I wasn't gearing up to sell the EVO I'd be putting one of these on right now for testing. Dammit.

Nobody complains at the strip club when you get two full songs on the lap dance instead of one

But she better be a hottie.

Tom (9sec9) will chime in as this goes with more details. For now I want to thank all who have been involved before we got the car here to do the final work.

Forced Performance, camshafts and turbochargers for the car.

Indy EVO, air box, radiator, intake manifold. (Air box design was a concept of Tom's actually, executed by Indy and Schumacher Racing)

Keith Wilson, intake manifold.

Tom showed up here on Monday and Daniel (my brother/service department owner) got started right away on pulling the engine. The shortblock looked goreous but we found 3 cylinders with valves that were leaking. The head only required a quick valve job to have it back to 100%.

The longblock was set back into the car Tuesday morning and then came the process of starting to get all the parts to work and fit together.

The radiator was built by C&R and designed by Indy EVO. The radiator is a dual pass radiator with AN fittings quick disconnects. It's a work of art. The only part left was to build a mount to hold it in the car. I was able to do that using the existing top pins and a single dzus fastener.

The air box is a work of art too. Designed to grab the air from the front of the car and ram it into the air filter. This part was done and mounted, also using a single dzus from Indy. All I had to do was build the inlet pipe that ran from the air box to the turbocharger. Trent did the welding and it fits like a glove.

Next up was to get the water pump mounted. At first I was ready to start throwing things out the door. Then Tom decided to kick me in the ***** and when I hit the floor I saw where the pump needed to go I built a bracket to mount the pump from the bottom of the ACD pump. It actually couldn't have come out any better.

We are waiting on the Indy Intake manifold to come in from Wilson tomorrow morning and then I believe we have everything we need to finish up the car and start it.

This time around the car will be tuned using the AEM EMS.

Quite a few changes and quite a few parts to test and run.

This should make for some very interesting results.

The design of the radiator and air box are just freaking gorgeous, great job on those parts Indy EVO!

Enjoy the pictures. We will update this as the build comes together further.

Correct me if im wrong but did you guys says you only pulled to 8900? If so this would lead me to believe that this turbo would be perfect for a stroker kit? Am I wrong to assume this. Can Dave, Indy, 9sec9 or anyone who has done extensive research on this setup please give their input on how this turbo would do with a stroker.
