itwolf, you can intall our Race FMIC with AMS's upper and lower i/c pipes, we've managed to get them to work together here in the past.

Thanks for asking.

We were dealing with very hot/humid conditions. The datalog screen shot I am going to post is the final run on the car after 3 consecutive runs, all done in 23 minutes. We had one small squirrel cage fan on the car.

I have highlighted the peak boost and the air temp/water temp/mph etc at that point for reference.

Here's the screen shot with further explaination below it.

Starting RPM 2508
Starting Air temp 100.4
Starting coolant temp 156.2
Starting vehicle speed 28.85
Starting boost .23

Peak boost 38.88

Ending RPM 8355
Ending Air temp 104
Ending coolant temp 158
Ending vehicle speed 96.20
Ending boost 26.88

Overview, Coolant temp with NO engine fan running only rose 1.8 degrees.
Air temp with one small fan only rose 3.6 degrees.

The air temp sensor is located in the upper i/c pipe about 10" before the inlet to the throttle body.

The radiator is a super impressive part too. Indy is actually going to be working on making our small radiator kit in this same design. This should allow for a radiator half the size of stock with cooling capabilities much greater than the stock radiator. When the new radiator is finished I will offer the radiator and electric pump as a DIY kit that bolts into the car.

Good information and good reference with me providing an actual screen shot.
this excellent information on the air temps Dave.. Thanks for sharing.. I am excited to put your new FMIC to the test in the next week or so on my car..

I probably dont have to say it as you already can guess.. Count me in on the 1/2 size radiator and water pump kits when they are ready..

Huge valves kill velocity of air, on a bigger turbo it might make sense to go bigger or even a good bit biger but on this turbo no need for that much air.

Scorke, quit giving away my top-secret secrets on philosophy and science that I don't completely have scientific data to back up.

those are some impressive numbers. The intake temps are the exact reason I am ordering a race fmic from you in the next week or two.

156F coolant temps?

Do you even have a thermostat on that thing?

No there is no thermostat in the car, the temps are regulated through control of the fan and waterpump. Going down the road we had problems getting it warm enough, the car held a steady 117 degrees cruising 55-60 mph! It actually makes tuning aggravating.........but I got around it

OK the new part should be easy to build. Did he remember to take that with him and your bag of valve train parts? Crap, I hope he remembered it!

Thank you!
