9sec9/OKIX's EVO, ROUND TWO!
I am glad you guys got out there tonight and hope you meet your goals the next time you go out. It sounds like the car was running strong.
I will definitely make it out the next time you guys hit the track.
In the mean time, its time for a

Very good. Glad to see the update. The 10.4 is promising the 134 is even more so.
When are you going to get the car out again?
We need a good track rental so the both of us can just work on the cars/driver mods
Waiting for weeks to get the cars out, then waiting in rediculous heat and some times hours between passes is no way to get a car dialed in or a driver.........
Great times/mph though, looks very promising!

Thanks DB. I'm game for anytime. You know me, I just tell my truck to 'Go to Davids' and I go to sleep. Next thing you know, we're in Wakeman and I'm waking up 18 hours later. David, you know how the AFR's were on the dyno. Last night, we were hitting 11.2-11.5 for quite a bit of the runs. Air was a disaster. I didn't even hit within .5 of my favorite area. You tell me when you want me there, I'll be there and get the car dialed in. We may have to do it with one driver though. Not too sure if I can shake Tony loose unless I fly him up for just a day. You're air sucked too, huh?
Backing off was the right thing to do. I just hated that it happened on our best pass. I imagine the other driver saw Tony coming up on him HARD. Tony said you can clearly see it in the video. I'll post that up as soon as I get my video cable out of the truck. I've been reading the logs most of the morning already. Making a few changes to AFR's again. The air in Oklahoma is quite a bit different than Ohio, so I expected to have to make a few changes. Our altitude is also about 1300 feet or so vs 200-400.

We all know misfortunes at the track can be frustrating to say the least. The mph on the last 2 passes is telling you something big. 107 @ the 1/8th is nuts for a stock frame turbo. Your passes add up to a 9.8 or so at 139mph.
Amazing.
If I can get David to work with me a little more on the AEM and get both cars at the track, we could do a much better job of getting it dialed in. One thing I watched very close too was the launches. The very first launch being a 1.51 tells me that we're pretty close on the springs. The car never 'porposed' even 1 time. When it launched, it just squated and then went straight ahead. That's pretty promising for the new Swift Springs too. Raise the 2step a bit with better traction and I think we'll have that end of it covered.
There are so many new things to look at right now, that it's hard to concentrate on just one area. Suspension, turbo, tune, driver, tuner. We'll get back up to speed in no time. We just need a little more seat time now.
That's a silly statement, if you can get me to help you with the AEM. You know I will.
Send me over the log from last night and the current cal. file. I'll take a look at it.
You'll get it and it won't take long for you to master it.

Man, if I had you in my corner the possibilities would be endless.
9sec9,
I think it is awesome what you are doing with your son!!! I myself lost my dad at the age of 10, that is right 10. My father was 34 years old. So I don't have an opportunity to do what you guys are doing and I don't remember a whole lot either from when he was around. My dad was a gear head and also loved to race and build fast cars too. So I really do hope you guys make all the greatest and best memories you can and enjoy every minute of it!!!! I check back here all the time just waiting to see if you guys broke into the 9's!!!!!
