I did read the whole thing, please don't make me read it again

Interesting to see how much this will make on pump though, with less exhaust flow than the 30 like has been stated.

yeah we're totally there, I think my Evo 8 is slow with 325/345 - and when I first had up to that, I was grinning ALL the time; glad I waited on a IX hybrid turbo, was going to wait for a green to come down in price, but now with the red, looks like the choices got BETTER!!

Thanks FP for all the great options. . .

How long will the red last, when pushed to 30 psi on a daily driver. The ix turbos I've seen lately have lots of play, with not many miles on them.

Peak boost of 30 psi will still keep the shaft speed well under it's maximum.

That particular day, I believe I had a boost leak as the car normally would spike to 30psi and fall to 25. Ive got some things to square away on the car as I am like Trent and drive the **** out of the car. 80,000 miles on an 05 lol. Stock motor, intake mani, exhaust mani and tb. If I find this boost leak and the motor continues to retain good compression and not fail on me, I see no reason this baby wont trap 125 and maybe go 10.9 at 3300 feet elevation.

I am curious as to how exactly the Red differs from the Green. What comp and exhaust wheels are used in the Red? Are they both larger than those used in the Green? I've tried searching for this info in the two current EvoM threads dealing with the Red. I also looked for info on the FP website as well. So, if anyone has this info or can post up a relevant link I'd appreciate it.

GrocMax posted that it's an HTA technology compressor wheel with a 76mm exducer, but I don't have any more specific info than that. But since they are machining an existing compressor cover, they can't go much bigger than a Green on the inducer without running out of material.
