Forced Performance Evo Red Turbo data
what will the numbers be on a stock 8 or 9 with a bpu setr up? we all know that basicly any turbo will shine with a fully built motor and supporting mods..what i want to know is what is the major diff between this turbo and the green vs a stock 9 turbo? i cant seem to purchase a turbo thats been tested on a fully built car that cant compete with my car in the first place..so how am i supposed to make that decision when the tests are being done on highly modified cars
This is all the website says....for now.

what time is it...1142pm...i know for a fact that local subaru awd dynojet runs into some late nights, and same goes for the other local awd mustang dyno...both of which are minutes from my house...unlike S. Ivey who is about an hour from me, maybe i can swindle him into coming down for a dyno tune or dyno day
Since the Red was not officially announced by FP, but discussed because it was tested by 9sec9 with results that this community would find interesting, I expect that it will be a short time before the "official" announcement and full details are ready to be posted by FP on its website.
In the meantime, there is good information from 9sec9 and from Trent's car to show what it is capable of with a good tune and supporting mods. If you don't have a good tune, or if some of the supporting mods are missing and limit the turbo's performance, you'll have less output. How much less is a matter for future determination.
Another issue for additional testing will be the effect of a different intake manifold on the spool capability of the turbo. Early predictions from experienced people say that a stock or moderately modded stock intake could change the spool by up to 500 RPM lower. I'm interested in a V0 test... I'm sure that there will be more testing soon that will help answer these questions. As with the Green, the greater the number of customers running the turbo with different combinations, the more information we'll have from which to estimate results with different levels of modification and different parts.

Green 49 lbs/min
Red 56 lbs/min from David Buschur comment
app. 60 lbs/min calculated from HP figures ( in that same thread)
hmmmm if i can get some ideas on flow rates compared to the stock ix to the green to the red...I would make my decision yesterday
no numbers just yet make the decision tougher...ive debated on a turbo upgrade for my ix and have made a tentative decision but if this gets me over 400-440ish it would be easy...
ive got the loot already set aside for a killer setup but this would allow for even more toys
time to search their site

well i know its doable on the 30R and 35R but if its doable for less then it becomes even better and leaves me more toy money so to speak
I feel ya but if i had a ix then i prolly wouldnt even factor in the green. too many people with evo ix say that the green doesnt feel worth the price of its admission on pump. on meth or race gas then the green becomes a different animal. just remember, the numbers that you are looking for can only be achieved with high boost on race gas or meth with the ix turbo and green. it "appears" do red can do it on pump.
