As stated above, all that matters is the difference between the after dyno tune numbers and the before base run. That difference is calculating the gain of the tune. Whether a dyno reads low or high, the before and after run are both done on the same rollers and what really matters is the overall gain. Until someone runs their car on TTP's dyno, then ships their car to Buschurs with the exact same mods and tune, stop saying it's a high reading dyno. You have no factual proof and you're just spreading a rumor now...

War, I don't think my posts are poor, you just don't agree with them I see what your years of experience has netted you...

So you really think these stock turbo meth cars well put down over 400 on buschurs dyno? lol no way

If you were to have your car modified and tuned you would likely put the car on the lift, install the parts, run a baseline with mods and then optimized with a flash. Printout before and after.

I have yet to get a call on the phone from an Evo owner saying "I bought a stock Evo and was dying to get it dynoed to see what it puts down stock."
Scott...I wouldn't waste my time with haters . You'll find them everywhere. Just keep doing what you're doing.

Wow, reading comprehension owns you bud. I never said they would dyno the same. That's what everyone is arguing about here. Until someone proves they do or don't it's purely speculation and rumors, and I would highly advise against either until you have some raw data and facts to back it up with.

TTP, yes keep doing what you are doing. I feed off of haters.

Now bring this thread back on topic!!!!

Again, this has nothing to do with buschur. Buschur's dyno reads quite low, and stock cars put down 205-220whp depending on the year. IX's with TBE, MBC, and a tune put down ~280whp, these are all baselines to measure off of.

Yes, keep putting out strong cars, but help us calibrate those numbers with some basic bolt-on cars for examples. The OP found out the dyno he was talking about yielded ~245whp on a stock IX. This is a good baseline to off of so we know what they mean by '400whp on pump gas.'

A stock VIII or IX has never been on our dyno.

Yea, you already said that, but what about a basic bolt-on, TBE, MBC, tuned car? cams? FMIC? whatever, just something more basic, thats all.

We have seen your snyde remarks regarding our dyno within your post history and have no interest in entertaining your requests to further fuel your desire to degrade a vendor facility.

What will will offer you is the ability to bring your car here and take your first hand account to compare it to your other personal dyno experiences elsewhere.

Thanks.

Scheides, you'll finally break the 500whp barrier!

A) I'm not being snide. Maybe sticking my neck out a little asking for a few facts, but that is all. Please make sure you have read my previous posts regarding my respect for TTP. They were honest and truthful, not meant to be taken as slanderous.
B) I think you're being really defensive for no reason. Furthermore, being a vendor should not afford you the right to be defensive and borderline rude.
C) My car is in MN, that is really funny. My brother lives in Lake Mary, I will definitely visit when I go see him. Maybe we'll dyno his GSXR1000 and see what it does back here in MN?

Mustang, dynojet.. whatever.... its all relative & can be manipulated.
Ahhh, the voice of reason.

Dynos are tuning tools people. You should use them for your reference only on your car only. If you MUST compare them, plan on allowing +/- 5 to 10% error. So 425 could turn into 382.5 on a hot, humid day with no mods to the car.

He may very well have made 425hp at 27psi. That's a lot of boost for pump gas, maybe he had a few gallons of race gas in there (you can buy it at the Sunoco less than 3 miles from Japtrix) Maybe it was a cold dry day in January. Maybe Roger set something up wrong. Maybe he really made that much power.

Maybe maybe maybe. Even if you were there and saw it with your own eyes all you could say is maybe. Why is it such a big deal?

I can tell you that I have had my car dyno'd there a few times and it is consistent, and consistently lower than the dynojet at Machines Gone Wild. But it's all a roll of the dice because conditions change, so who knows for sure?

Maybe you should quit asking for it. A stock Evo doesn't exist around these parts bro. There's so many shops around here: CFT, SpeedClinic, Xtremeboost, TTP, Titan Motorsports, MazworX, bro the list goes on............................. anyone driving around a stock Evo in Central Florida would just be oblivious.

Now stop asking what a stock Evo does!!!

Please go re-read my post. A basic bolt-on evo has to have been on that dyno, don't be silly. Everyone starts with a few basics and a tune.
