Trany problem please help

I just changed my trany and T-case fluids, (redline lightweight), and my car doesn't want to shift in to reverse. First is kinda hard to get in to also. Once i'm rolling 2-5 are nice and smooth.

I stuck with Oem when it came to the driveline. Although, I did put redline mt-90 in the tranny and haven't had any problems.

I use light shockproof in t-case, and mt-90 in tranns. No problem. With a shep stage 3 tranny, its even better!

id stick with the OEM T.C and rear diff fluid
as far as tranny goes, i use Amsoil and its a night and day difference. this thing is butter smooth now. i love it

but what it sounds like to me is you need to adjust your clutch...

Ive heard mixed reviews/horror stories about different drivetrain fluids. I just changed all my fluids and I took it to dealer just bc it seems to have a more reliable feedback. I put around 1k miles on it and it shifts smooth and no issues at all.

+1 on the Amsoil. I made the switch to all Amsiol and could feel a difference.

Did the engine, trany, TC, and rear diff. everything is like quick silver now flowing so smoothly. I will never go back to anything else. Took the car for a very quick drive after the change to get the oils moving through everything and to make sure everything was fine and noticed a difference. The next day I could tell the difference right off the bat. Better shifting and feels like I have more pull/power. The car just feels like there is better response now.

royal purple is junk
find the lab results on it, its a very bad oil, in the sense it breaks down very quickly.
there are always people that swear by it and say they never had a problem with it. im happy for them, but i know i will NEVER use it in my car

plus with amsoil, theres something about knowing they recommend the oil to be changed every 15,000 miles for severe use that makes me feel very comfortable

Royal Purple is junk in the ENGINE. Royal Purple Synchromesh works great in the transmission. With that being said, I use Redline lightweight shockproof. This is what Shep and English Racing recommends. Works great, never bind, shifts are smooth. 100% happy with Redline.

Definitely check your clutch adjustment. Try not pushing in all the way but 7/8 of the way and see if it is smoother.
