If you are getting a 3065 kit for the same price as a Red it is either:

A. used
B. has a junk manifold
C. hot

Get a RED

Can i see the graph of the 3065 on the 2.0 please. And the turbo is not hot, its a buschur kit so i dont think you would consider it junk. Dose anyone know of a graph of a red on a stock motor with a stock head? Everything i found had a built motor.

If it's the Buschur kit, it is a quality manifold then...

So you are saying it was: A. used

Why buy a used turbo when you can have the same performance (better spool up even) out of a NEW Red.

The only way I would do the 3065 kit is if you intend on upgrading to a 35r later.

How are you going to knock a 3065 when there is a HTA upgrade comming. It is simple

Red.... stock turbo housing HTA3076 wheel
3065...true garett turbo with a modified 35r wheel cold side and regular 30r hotside. And on top of that your not pushing the ever living life out of this turbo as you would on the red.

Its like this if you have a built 2.3 that can handle up to 8500rpms but you know its safe to run it at 7900-8100 why would you run it at 8500rpms and risk faliure? Just like the Red Vs. 3065

And Im not In any way shape or form putting down the RED.

My friend has a 1991 talon fully built 2.3 stroker. he runs the 3065 from FP. his car spools at the same rpm as mine (4000). His car is for sale btw if anyone close to TX wants a hell of a beast. ( 500+whp on race gas) 325whp at spring pressure (12psi). 2500lbs curb wt.

FP RED!

I wouldn't waste my time on the 3065, if your gonna go there you might as well go HTA35R.

So has nobody else here heard of the problems associated with the FP Red?

I've heard of several people having major problems with their FP Red here in So. Cal. alone. A few local guys can't even spin their compressor wheels anymore! Seized FTL.

I haven't heard of any problems with the Green, but I have heard several problems with the Red's. Go for the green!

Hmm. I find that funny that you've "heard" and it hasn't made it to EvoM yet. I have heard of the people (the few who even have it btw) that have made awesome power with them and loved it though!
