FP Red or BR 3065
yes but i am talking 93 octane regular pump...
not e85, not meth, not racegas... I dont know what i would see on these types of gasolines... I have seen similar 3065 setups on meth @ 28psi exceeding 500awhp on a dynojet...
Forget 9sec9s car... it has the best of everything on his car which is a drag car...
i talk pump gas... i haven't seen the numbers that can persuade me that Red is the turbo we all dreamed of... which is almost stock lag and over 410-420awhp on pump at moderate boost levels on stock ecu...

As for stock spool, I think we are just too greedy!

From experience. FP Red, I made 30 psi at 3800rps and held 28 to redline! Confirm with KevinD. He has all of the charts ect. I just parted my highly modified IX out with the FPRed also the GSC280 cams probably helped out alot. Which are still for sale btw, I'm getting a WW X on Tuesday. And Aneil from FP told me this morning that my FPRed for the X will be in this coming Friday!!! Sweet huh
Red all the way!!! And resale on thoes things will never go down, it's like buying a Ferrari
Good luck with your build!!

So, will the X Red be a clockwise version of the IX Red, or will it be the old-skool 60-1 wheel like the other clockwise Reds? They really need to unify their naming, it's starting to get confusing.
As for the 3065 vs Red on an EVO8-9, I'd say Red hands down. The wheel is slightly smaller, but the efficiency makes up for it. In the real world, people are making as much power on Reds already as most 3065s I've ever seen, and the Red hasn't been out nearly as long. Twin scroll+cheaper+stock looking+no expensive, non-rebuildable BB CHRA=winner
