bogging issue

i have a 03 evo 8 with full turbo back exhuast(not tuned)
now im experiencing engine bog on high acceleration.
i never had that when i still had my cat on.
but it seems like that it happened right after i got rid of cat and put test pipe in.
is it kinda normal since its not tuned?
is it dangerous to drive hard like that?

Is it right when your hitting pk boost? I am going to say your hitting fuel cut. A simple tune will fix that for you

anytime you make a major modification, you need the tune to follow it. or the car runs like doo-doo brown.

contact 4ws tuning. he is on this site or just email him at: Tamer@4wstuning.com.
it will run you 150 and you need to buy the little cable the connect with a laptop. its simple and easy hp. he is t3h best bang for the buck... man that sounded awkward.

if you arent hitting fuel cut then it could be an ignition problem or pulling timing. Not sure what your exhuast would have to do with that though...

do you have any other mods on the car?

nah just an exhaust, but like i said before i had a downpipe, cat, and catback system with no problem
but ever since i got rid of the cat and put test pipe it started to happen. not all the time but pretty often.

weird stuff going on for sure. Could be bad fuel.

but otherwise, check your spark plugs

do you have a boost gauge? If you don't, borrow one or buy one and watch what it does when you start getting this bogging. Your downpipe could be causing too much boost and it may be pulling timing or something since you aren't tuned for it all.

lemme know!
