Pretty sure. Someone pointed it out on their car one time. They were like "What do you think of my shifter?" I was like "It's ok, I guess." They were disappointed because I wasn't JDM enough to understand that the JDM 6 speed came with a leather shift know, not the aluminum piece.

To me, it just looked like the US 5 speed shifter

 

any word on the tre 6 speed i would love to do this modification while my engine is down being rebuild. also price?

It does not seem to be on their website now, but I have one. The challenge is that they only do the installation at their shop. The Works 6-speed short shifter along with their shifter bushing and it's like butter. Thanks to the way back machine I have a reference, but the best choice is just to call them.
