For those of you that are just running 93 pump with your FP Red setups, how do you like it? Driveability, how it pulls, horsepower, 1/4 times, etc...?

usually with good parts they put down around 450awhp on straight pump and some have gone 10s on straight pump with a good driver

Oh wow thats amazing, I didn't think they were that high. The numbers in my sig are on a dynojet with meth so I'm starting to think it was more of a conservative tune from what I've seen.

Idk y I never looked into alcohol/meth. A lot of fp red setups go that route. Nonetheless, this is a very helpful thread.

Before I went to E85, I was running meth w/ pump gas (on my FPred). I can honestly say that was the biggest hassle I've ever had with my Evo. Having to deal with the leaks from the meth eating the fittings and lines. Methanol is one of those things that doesn't fit the saying of "worth its weight in gold" IMO.

Fp Red

I have a IX FP Red with buschur bolt ons. I do not have cams and I made 403hp and 367tq on Buschurs dyno. I am just learning to drive but last week I went 12.80 at 113mph. I spun through 1st gear. Best sixty was just a hair faster than 2.0 The driver mod is definately the one that needs improvement. I am shooting for 11s. I love cars street manners. I have never drove a stock evo so I can't compare. Smiles are all this car produces for me. I got my butt kicked by the ricer at the Sport 'Compact Shootout and I was in aw of how clean and fast that car is. The STM guys are real cool bros too.

yea man that car def has more potential in timeslip wise, my best was a 12.0 @ 114 with a shot clutch, havent been back since. and i only put down 376 to the wheels. i did a few other bolt ons since and picked up an AEM EMS. im goin back to Ivey Friday for a retune w/o the SD for now. cant wait to see the new numbers. so just keep practicing your driving, drive it like its your friends car not yours lol
