FP RED setups, recommendations, and advice
if you must know here is what i need list
Kelford 272
Tubular manifold = full race or shearers
timing belt = oem or hks
fluidampr
headgasket
injectors = pte 1000cc(have lead on some)
2.3 shortblock = its already done and put together just have to send in last payment
Evo 8 to 9 install kit
PPI Extreme ported/coated fp red hotside
These are parts that are coming in next week or i got this week.
Fully built evo 8 head = mike@awdmotorsports personal head he is getting it redecked and parts washed etc so its level surface and clean and suited and booted for action
-ported
-polished
-Ferrera Valvetrain
-Custom Oversized Valves
-Dual Spring and Retainers
Perrin Fuel rail

you forget and have to keep in mind im modding two cars my friend. I have a complete rockford fostgate system with jvc dvd/tv/bluetooth/nav/ipod/usb head i was installing in the Z with custom box that is almost complete so been working on that mostly ill have pics of front half of Z done tomorrow after work. Its hard doing both have to show love to both just add that up right there man lol i have spent
1445 on evo this month(another 205 to come for injectors)
2575 on Z this month (sound system parts plus install and custom made/wrapped box)
so there you have it i dont move as fast as lots of people in the modding dept but i make sure its right and done correctly the first time around and i only want to do this once. when its done should be january ill have lots of numbers for this thread for sure

Get fic bluemax injectors (same ones i got)
timing belt = power enterprise or gates
keep stock exhaust manifold and intake manifold and get them ported... make sure you do 65mm tb also (mil.spec)
im going with map rev3 im, 65mm tb, gsc s2 cams, beehive springs. if you want the most power go with kelford for cams (according to ams testing)
dont need fuel rail.... stocker wont be restrictive until you reach over 600whp+
try to see if you can get e85 also from www.e85prices.com

reminded me lol also need kelford 272. My head coming in from mike is fully built dual spring and retainers can rev that puppy past 9k rpms not going to happen but its possible. the injectors im getting based off mellons own tuning experience so im not going against him ever. he knows whats best and what works. timing belt im open to offers i heard oem was best as other belts have been known to cause issues later on. I HATE THE STOCK MANIFOLD PERIOD. its completely ugly and will not flow with my engine bay design. The fullrace and shearers manifold have proven gains over stock ported. as for T/b and intake manifold read my sig. I have buschure ported 65mm t/b and PPI extreme ported Intake manifold forgot to mention im building a separate motor no CORE exchanges on any of these parts
. the fuel rail i got again for flow with the way my engine bay is going to look and this motor im making will be able to handle way over 700whp i will not even be pushing it close i wanted to build it in mind of not having to upgrade anything major if i ever wanted more power or if i sell it the new owner can upgrade with no fears. NO e85 in my area so not a option never was included in my plans. they have some places in texas if i move there next year then ill opt to change but will not need to as the motor will be ready get the picture now 

The talk about aftermarket kevlar messing stuff up is bogus and horse ****.. all the fast cars use kevlar.
pte will work, but fic has better spray patterns. just trying to help you..... i have years of experience with the 4g63 motor. the stock rails prob good for over 800whp actually.
I had a extra core so no need to sacrifice my car until last minute. my buschur 2.3 comes in 1 week. go with either kelford or gsc s2.. no matter how ugly stock manifold is you're gonna lose low end torque with a aftermarket shearer or full race manifold as long as you realize that. My heatshield covers my manifold 100% check my pictures...

I know your trying to help im not defensive at all about anything lol. I always read and read and listen to others and see what works. My evo has never rocked the stock manifold since i owned it. My car had a cheap aftermarket megan garbage that was precracked and i did not notice it. SO i have never riden in a evo other then my own. I dont know what the stock manifold feels like i got one for 30 dollars with evo 8 turbo attached to it lol. I decided not to use it. you cant missed what you never felt so i dont miss it nor care. Nice you get your 2.3 in one week hella nice on that according did not know you were so ready toget it done and had the cash flow for it now. I fiqured you wait it out and ride what you have for awhile. yea as for the belts i have not heard until this past week that i should go with the OEM belt and not anything more. there was a thread about the blue belt causing issues but i have not heard anything negative about the hks timing belt so i figured that or oem should work well. as for injectors mellon and others have said PTE is a beast and will get it done. I have not heard much about FIC but ill look into it either way 205 for some 1000cc injectors is a hella good price lol i could change later if i felt the need. the fuel rail was strictly to add more color to top of engine bay and for future if i needed more gas. I was into mellons build and he needed to upgrade his rail as well so since im building this motor separte might as well

Ya i got all my parts paid for already .. Basically you just lose some low end tq with aftermarket exhaust manifold but gain a crapton of top end, which actually is more important then low end tq.. just stick with PTE since you'll be not exceeding those injectors and they are a great bang for buck.. i wasnt being defensive i was just responding to your comments haha.. OEM belt is also fine.... ive never seen someone break a oem belt without doing something stupid.
yea thats a good price for the kelfords is that brand new?? evo 8 edition not 9 as i dont own one lol. The belt russell at mitsuparts gave me a great deal on timing package i think im going to jump on that and call it a day. i dont give a **** about low end. if im just driving then thats that im doing speed limit chilling. if i plan on doing something at the track or road course ill be punching it anyways so low end is not important. again never had it to begin with so i dont miss it. yup the pte for that price have to jump on that lol. ill have to make a thread and see if people agree that fic is a better brand injector im run that by mellon and mike. OH and me and you are friends we talked with william all day and night that one day so i dont take anything to heart on this site why would i lol i dont give a **** about internet opinions lol.

you just have to keep telling yourself though..... you're putting a 2.3 in your car thats built overkill for your goals so its going to practically be bullet proof granted your tuner is good (mellon is very good) so its like driving around in a bullet proof motor, to me thats worth every penny vs driving around in stock bottom end and playing do or die every gear pull

I almost bought a 09 ralliart and a 08 eclipse but did not like the room in the eclipse and my dealer was trying to rip me off completely on the ralliart as our dealer has only gotten ONE of them PERIOD we had 4 evos 3 were red all outsourced and 1 was MR edition 47k before taxes im not kidding lol was turned off so im putting lots of effort into the Z and evo man ill have some sick pics of the custom sound system i been building for the Z for you today when i get off work working on box for subs next week as well as lots of evo parts
