Actually - the reason WHY I chose the HKS 3037s is becuase of the proven achivements of the 3037 in the time attack evo - its clearly NOT a drag racing turbo - but it does make for a nice linear and low spooling power band which is perfect foir a fast road car

I have had some success on the drag strip with it - but by using a bigger turbo you can make an easy 100 hp more than the 3037 - I purposely didn't go with one of those becuase from experience when they start to spool up they hit so violently you have to be going straight or you'll slide off the road- - a slightly less powerful unit like the 3037 is just the ticket for a good balance between good power and driveability

I'm very proud of my power band in the 600 whp evo thread - if you look at it you will see the power is very linear and also a wide power band

After being an owner of the HKS 3037s kit and having had a few other turbos on my WRX last year - I find it amazing that this guy was claiming its a poorly designed and outdated set up - looking at what HKS is doing and what brainstorm is doing - to me there is no comparision

I have one question you have all your trim formula's correct and most of your post seem like copy and pasted material at best.

You keep saying GT40 but what turbo is it? What wheels what turbine housing? The pic you posted looks like a to4E comp housing. but I want to know what turbine and compressor wheels you are using. what size is the turbine housng? A compressor map would help also thanks.
