Your probably right. But I felt dumb when I realized the problem because in hindsight, I couldn't think of any good reason why a loose bolt or nut holding the oil pump sprocket would stop a leak.

I was scheduled to get tuned tonight at 9:00PM, but I'm still having trouble with the turbo fittings. The 1.00 T4 exhaust housing on a GT35r size turbo makes for one tight package. I should get my order from FP tomorrow and hopefully everything will fit this time around.

I finally got the right fittings to put the turbo together, and the turbo is in the car. Damn TS makes for a tight fit. One of the wastegate dump tubes was touching the radiator, and I didn't feel comfortable with it there, so I am now trying to figure out where I am going to re-route it. There's nothing like having to modify almost every part of a kit that you bought to save time. Anyways, I wanted to get your guys opinion on routing one of the dump tubes out of the hood vent. It sounds kinda ghetto, but I have seen it done before, and it actually didn't seem like that bad of an idea. Aside from some occasional flame throwing and a little soot, I don't see any drawbacks. I'm also going to have to figure something out for the upper radiator hose, but that can wait a couple days. Btw, the bigger turbo, o2 housing, and manifold sure made the car a lot louder.

Looks terrific. Sorry about the fitment issues. I think you were right about the radiator.. my friends a/c condensor ended up touching his radiator and after a while killed the radiator.

Good luck sorting things out.

I re-routed the driver side dump tube, so I think everything is good now. I decided against routing the dump tube out the hood vent because I don't really want to have to worry about the car sitting out in the rain and having the wastegate full of water.

I also noticed after I turn the car off I can hear the turbine spinning down for 5-10 seconds. Is that just because it's ball bearing? I've never noticed that on any other turbo.

Yep sure is. Mine spins for almost a minute after I turn the car off! Depends on your intake pipe as to how loud it is

This is why it is so important to : (1) stay off boost for ~ 1 minute before shutting the car off and (2) use good oil...

Your setup is almost identical to mine(afi goodies) except I stuffed a 4088 in there. Things were too tight to fit the OEM radiator in there for me though. Glad you could get yours in.

Looking good! Routing dump tubes is a pain. I've redone mine 3 times...

Now get some miles on that thing so you can start making the horsepowers.

I will take a pic for you once I am off work. I ended up using a CBRD radiator. Amazing piece.
