10-4. Well I am pretty much sitting around bored waiting for Spec to open on Tuesday, so I finished my catch can today. Nothing fancy, but thought I'd post pictures. It's just a cheapo JAZ one form MAP. I switched out the fittings to bigger ones to make it flow a little better. I guess we'll just see how it works.

And TS HTA3582 hopefully FTW.

I feel the win content should be powerful.

Man I really think that the 3582 hta will sing. Jesse kept trying to get me to run the hta 3586 with that manifold on a 2.0. And after seeing most-wanted pull out 804whp, I wished I would have listened, kept that manifold and finished that setup.

But all well, soon enough my car should be done. Just need to get all the driveline stuff built

Man not to be negative.. but how is it in this economy, a company can't get off their *** and fix a massive problem with their product, which we happen to install for purposes of flat shifting at 9k with 600 tq.

I suggest dsevo receive a free clutch from spec for highlighting their product in this thread and reviewing it.

I like your thinking, lol. I just hope I can get them to get me one ASAP once they re-open on Tuesday. I really want this thing running at the end of next week.

I may consider the 86 down the road if I decide I want more power. This should be good for a while though. I'm just hoping to be well into the 600's on E85, which I think is pretty doable.

Did you ever get a movie clip of your car running?

Yes I think your car should make mid 600's on e85. I didnt know you guys had that out there.

Nope, no movie clip. Didn't even think of it.

The closest E85 station is 35 miles, so 55 gallon drums of E85 FTW, lol.

Start going to places and look for some 55gallon drums, some times they will give them to you for free. Fill that stuff up and keep them in a nice place they will last a while lol.

I have been following this build thread closely and have to say it is one of the most interesting on here, well done man.
Also big ups for doing all the work yourself.

Really looking forward to the results, and not just dyno #'s but also how it feels on the street.
I've got most of the parts to build a 4G64 based 87x94 long-rod (159mm) engine to replace the long-serving built 2.0L in my Evo, and need some motivation to get it built.

One thing though: Are you sure that is a 3582HTA turbo in the picture you posted above?
It looks more like the 3586HTA model's surge porting to me...

What are you waiting for, get that motor built, lol.

As for the turbo, I don't know the difference between them visually, but I ordered a 3582 so I'm assuming its a 3582. Is there a sure way to tell the difference?

Yeah, when my car is running I'd be happy to help. I'm not gong to pretend I have some secret knowledge or anything like that though. Where are you located?
