The mynes and Full Race were the same when they started to come over to the uk, everyone wanted them.

I am sure once the Shearer hits our shores, that will be the in thing too, and tbh if it was avaliable in the uk now, at the same price as the others, it would be the manifold i'd choose, but I can't see them coming over anytime soon due to the exchange rate

Dang, I had no idea they were priced as such. So basically it winds down to this:

BR ported and jet coated stocker: $275 (+10whp roughly)
ProStock manifold: $980 (+25whp roughly)
Shearer manifold: 1120 (+30whp roughly)

This is quite a comparison and the price-to-power ratio favors the BR ported stocker. I'm not riding the ProStock or the Shearer manifolds but the BR ported has been proven on some fairly well put together cars (i.e. - Most Wanted). It would be nice to see how the ProStock and Shearer matched up to a FP Red-equipped car through back-to-back tests.

I think you'll get what you pay for with Megan's. I've heard several stories of them cracking.

IMHO the real benefit of a manifold is in the gains that occur at the midrange and "average" overall powerband, not the "peak"

I have a dc sports manifold and a stock turbo with 10.5 hotside, no cracking and looks good! I am happy with it.
