Built 2.0 or 2.3, and which Turbo??
In a few months I will be doing a new bottom end on my 03 Evo 8. The shorty will be done at Buschur Racing and my issue is should I opt for their 2.0 built block or the 2.3 stroker block. My car is daily driven and will be staying on the stock head for awhile.
I also will be choosing a turbo. I am looking for an ultimate street build with great spoolup. My goal is to be around 500whp on a mustang or more on 93 octane.
My mods:
Buschur stages 1-2
Buschur BFIC
HKS 280/280
Walbro 255
ARP Head Studs
What would be the ultimate street setup with the power mentioned above and great spoolup?

I'd like to stick with the stock ECU and stay on pump.
Basically what I was looking at was doing a RED with Tubular, o2 dump, etc and try to get 500
Or, just doing a build and going with a bigger turbo.

I remember seeing a thread in the dyno section of a 2.3/red, I think it was called the ultimate street setup or something in the title, and it made 500/500 with very fast spool.

eh,, the HKS VCON pro starts up like stock so he doesnt have to deal with hard starts
