5 speed into MR swap thread!
Yeah after comparing the 6 speed reverse sensor to a 5 speed they look different.
That's the bracket for the cables. I believe the part number you want is
MR246297 Bracket,gearshift for the 5 speed.
If you look on the first page everything needed for the swap is included and look at post 14 all part numbers are listed.

Ok, so a conversion to "tre" stage 3 gearbox will the total be around 4000 $ then whit all the stuff needed

No I dont think the TRE stage 3 kit has the 5-speed conversion parts needed. If you look at Sheps site I think he offers a seperate kit all at $450 for the kit. Im going with TRE though.
Shep has the whole kit for $450. The knob is not very important. You can use whatever aftermarket knob or even the 6spd knob. The important items are:
-complete shifterbox
-shifter cables (with bracket on trans, shifter bushings, pins)
-reverse sensor and speed sensor
-5 spd trans harness
-5spd trans mount
When I did it the console didn't need any modifying like some people said. Although I used a IX shifterbox and some are saying the VIII box is the one with interference problems with the MR console. The shifter boot from the 6spd doesn't fit well because its too short. Its only aesthetic. But it doesn't look hideous to me.

I paid just over $4000 for a used 8 trans, Buschur "Bushwacker" rebuild (similar to Shep and TRE), clutch, all stuff needed for conversion AND labor to do the swap. If you're buying used, the parts should set you back around $3,000. New is a different story.
the cost can be very very different depending on what clutch you get.
To bring this thread back up, I am possibly looking to trade my whole 5 speed swap out of my MR for a stock 6 speed setup. The previous owner did the swap. No problems with it at all just looking to go back to stock.
