I have the hks 3037s turbo kit its its amazing, should be putting down low 500 whp once I let the exedy twin plate break in.

 

I say meth as well, supposed to work completely around the turbo imo...stock turbo responds well to higher boost/more octane...and then when you get a bigger turbo later on it'll respond even better with the meth.

 

I have a big turbo and methanol I drive 100 miles a day and love it. I fill a 1 gallon methanol tank 2-3 times a month. no biggie. I get the methanol for $4. a gallon so it very cheap to run

 

Get the turbo, more room to grow in the future.

I did the turbo first... It was definitely an immediate increase in fun. Then I added meth...

Good god do I love meth. I will put meth on anything turbocharged I own ASAP from now on. I had the same reservations you hear about every 5 posts when meth is being discussed. But I have yet to have so much as a hiccup. I run no failsafe. Simple LMS kit. Spray big. No map switching. One tune. And I drive it 365. Rain/snow/sun and cold. 28psi or so all day every day.

When I need to switch to low boost mode I don't put my right foot down the whole way. If something is wrong, I don't put my foot down any more than it takes to drive the car normally. You'd never imagine how well this works.

I would absolutely do meth first. In fact, it will put off your need for larger injectors as you can take out fuel / and add it back with the meth kit. Ecuflash makes this a snap. So especially true on an evo. Meth is a great mod because it is one of the few that actually take some of the burden OFF of your taxed fuel system and allow you to make gobs more power.

Well just an update, I went ahead and bought an Aquamist HFS1 kit off someone locally. So I went with the meth!
