Parts are ordered and we'll see how it sounds real soon! Currently I'm rocking the Buschur Bullet with the Race Pipe... To LOUD!
Where are you purchasing your Magnaflow 14419 4" at??

Oh ok, so you went with the oval muffler in the middle vs. the round one?

Round 4" where the cat would be and the oval in the rear to further quiet things up.

Right now my current setup is a QTP downpipe with cutout, Catco 3 inch HFC and BR cat back with bullet muffler...I purchased the same Magnaflow 14419 muffler that dambikeracer did and Force-Fed Performance will be installing it for me this week...I will keep you guys updated and let you know how this Magnaflow muffler compares to my Catco HFC...

Dont know that answer and I dont think any one tried to fit anything of this size under there. But if I'm not mistaken, the bullet muffler is also 6" in diameter. Only difference is the magnaflow does not slope in at the corners.

But why not just remove it?

I sold my exhaust and tomorrow I'll be shipping it out. I'll pm the guy if he would update us with this information when he installs it.

bluevoix what's your next exhaust going to be?

I looked under the car just now and I think a 6in muffler will clear. I have a 3 inch test pipe and I took a bolt that is about 1.75inches long and went the length of the test pipe and it did not touch the stock shield, it did come close at points, maybe 1/2. The one part it would get close to is the drive shaft right where the two meet. I am not super technically inclined but that part woulspin to power the rear wheels right? If the muffler is not put far enough away from that point it may touch.

I'm at a loss but I guess a mini-muffler test pipe like the AMS one will not quiet an exhaust down as much as a 14in muffler welded on would?

Next project wont be for some time now. I sold this exhaust because I needed the cash to help pay off the credit card I used for Shep trans and new clutch.

If I were to do another one I would probably do either a boost activated dump or boost activated butterfly valve inside the muffler. But absolutely no electronic cutouts only pressure/vacuum activated actuators.

As for clearance. With my exhaust the muffler had a lot of clearance with the driveshaft. Also it was really stiff so hard turns the exhaust would have very minimal play with the stock rubber hangers.

I have Buschur TBE with HFC and Magnaflow, and even though its really quiet, just lil bit more louder then stock, i still get pulled over by a cops all the time.. I had it for about half a year, and i have 5 exhaust tickets so far.. As long as they see anything hanging down under the car (even though i painted it black) there is a huge chance that youll get ticket..

Never gotten a ticket by cops or pulled over in the past 2 years. But if they want to they can if they notice something visually. But unless your going WOT next to them, its cop friendly. And my area in Morton Grove according to what people say, is not soo friendly.

This exhaust is not as quiet as stock. But its very quiet for something thats 3" no tapers, no baffles all straight flow through. Quiet enough for cruising, baby in the back and absolutely no droning. Its a tad louder when cold start/warm up mode, but as soon as the motor warms up, it quiets down.

If I would have gone further, I might have added that Vibrant widebody resonator similar to what the AMS testpipe has. Possibly mount it somwhere in the rear if there is space, just to see how much more quieter ...... lol

But I am curious as to how this compares to the buschur with cat system?....

C.Gonzales keep us updated on how the 6 inch fits. I may go with the 5in just to have the extra .5 inch of clearance
