check the original clutch thread on here and buy the dent popper / slide hammer.. it threads right into the output shaft and makes it very very easy to remove and push back in

Thanks to some help I was almost able to do complete this. This is where I am stuck...

Like an idiot after someone helped me release the TOB I popped it back while trying to release the trans. I can't get the damn thing to release again..

So I can't figure out how to release that but when it was released i could not get the trans to come off. I have all the bolts out also have both mounts off. The rear and trans mount I have the TCase pushed towards the passenger side and its off. But that thing would not pop. I spent the past 9 hours trying to do this. I was not successful. Everything is removed and in theory the trans should just slide off but it won't

If anyone has any suggestions I am all ears cause right now I want to throw in the towel. Very frustrated..

Big thanks to Dave and Steve93Talon for all there help today. At this point just need some extra help.. Or suggestions on how to get this thing out. PLEASE HELP!!!!

It's either seized on the dowels (not likely) or you missed a bolt somewhere. I can't imagine anything else it could be offhand. And you suck for popping the TOB back in! How'd my homemade tool work?

^^^Thanks I am going to give it another try to see if I can release it. Looks so damn simple. Then I am going to try and see why the transmission will not budge...

t-bearing? the TOB? I had it released and tranny still would not budge. I popped it back by accident. I am not trying to remove the trans again till i release the TOB again.

Thought I would post some of this info. If you want to remove your 6sp there are some things that the DIY doesn't tell you. IT SUCKS..

To drain the trans on mine there was a T-55 torx bit. Had to run out to grab that. Also on the 9 on top of the Tcase there is a banjo bolt that I had to remove to get to one of the bolts that needed to be removed. Those were the 2 biggies thus far. Still working on getting it out so will try and shoot some pics when i have a chance..
