Very true, you might have to mount the reserve tank as low as the oil pan.
The pump ratio could be tuned by different sized pulley.

I would plumb in an accusump to build oil pressure before starting also

Not sure whether its worth swapping just the housing out without upping the turbo.
That comparison was done with no tuning whatsoever, and no other changes. I was hoping to accurately compare it on the dyno, but i ran out of time. There would definitely be more in it with additional ignition timing. I would say it's a worthwhile upgrade.
I will be doing a 20G upgrade soon on the stock exhuast housing and turbine, so i'll post those results too. Aiming for 400-450whp.

Thank you! It's certainly a handful to drive

I got the tune finished up today.
It made 280kwatw (375whp)on 24psi in the midrange and 20psi at redline.
I'll put some results up soon.

Racing at the drags on friday, i'm hoping to run 11.3-11.4 with that power and the new 4.111 final drive gearbox.

The car feels amazing to drive, stock turbo + 2.3 mivec + 4.111 is awesome to drive. Powerband feels massive

Stock turbo 9.8cm2 (and my **** tuning) vs stock turbo 10.5cm2 exhaust housing (same turbo core) and Carl @ E&H Motors tuning

My new stock turbo setup vs the old FP Red setup (similar engine - both 2.3 + mivec)

As Jerry would say - Torque = Fun

He isn't wrong

We went racing on Friday night at Night Speed Drag Wars, was a heap of fun

The car went really well, started off OK and then got better and better

First run 11.7 @183kph... wth? low trap speed, but not bad for 280kwatw (375whp)
second run 11.6 @191kph. Massive change in trap speed similar 1.7 60ft times.
third run 11.5 @198kph. Now we're talking.

With 40kwatw less i'm now trapping at the same speed - My old setup and times were 11.1@200kph.

The car is awesome to drive with the 4.111 (Mitsi Legnum) final drive. crossing the line in 4th at approx 7000rpm.

best time of the night was 11.40@199kph, 1.75 60ft.
building 15-18psi on the start line with launch control, no rear muffler so i've got some sweet flame shots

New PB on stock turbo:

11.22@194 kph (120mph), 1.62 60 ft with street tyres (215/45R17).

loving the 4.111 final drive and crossing the line in 4th gear

Very Very late update.

Thanks to Jerry (94AWDcoupe) and his advice, I went from a TD05-20G (billet) with 10.5cm2 housing to TD06SL2-20G (same comp wheel) and 9.8cm2 housing.

The results were amazing.
Produced the same power (with better spool) on 8psi less boost.
We ended up making around 350kwatw more power with similar boost up top.

Engine is 2.3 stroker with Mivec head (ported), GSC S2 and pump gas. 93 RON.
Stock manifolds.

I've purchased an Evo-6 in standard form - so will be swapping everything into that and retiring the Mirage. I did a 10.96 with the Mirage chassis, so it's done it's dash!
