Its not 30-40 whp off. Dyno's read different by percentages. at your lower level the difference may be about 30-40 hp but the more power you make the greater the difference will be. When evom still had the 500whp stock block club they would correct mustang dyno numbers to 18% I believe.

ok now that you say that i remember my logs on virtual dyno with evom mode which was 461 as iveys dynojet was, and br's dyno numbers on there for me were 404 so it is more then 40whp you're right. and it makes sense the percentage would increase as hp numbers increase. than again those are benchmarking programs, so its sort of retarded to use them, but sometimes they are scary accurate.

18% seems a bit inflated to me.

433/444 = 528/541

you're probably close to 500 on the hp and maybe over it on the torque. BR's mustang dyno reads pretty low compared to dynojet. can you spin tires from a 2nd gear roll?

I'll let ya know when I actually drive it.

12%(which is what I was under the impression it was) = 433/444 -- 492/504

your math is off. to get 12% you take 433 x 0.12 = 51.96 round it to 52

433 + 52 = 485 what you got at 12%. ask Buschur what it is though, its his dyno he will know best.

if you got anywhere close to 500wtq your car should feel like a rocket ship.

No. Pretty sure im right.

433/.88=492

492 *.12 = 59

492-59 = 433HP

--------------------

444/.88 = 504

504 * .12 = 60

504 - 60 = 444 tq

nah to get percentage you need to add the zero at the end..

i mean to get 12% you must add a zero first ie... 0.12 you cant skip it or its no longer percentage based.

Based on your math tho -

12% of 485 is 58.

485 - 58 = 427.

ha actually in this case..

open your windows calculator and take 433 x .12 it comes out to the same thing as 0.12 does. which is 52.

no i was taking 12% from your number (433) which finds the missing 12% you would have from a dynojet. so once you find that number you add it to your 433 to find your dynojet numbers. its 52 on windows calculator, maybe your calculator is not working right or you have it setup for some kind of different setting

ya youre confusing me now.. you cant work it backwards and get the same number.... no clue...

all i know is your whp was 433 so id figure to find the 12% loss you take 433 x .12 and then you add that number to the 433 and thats your number in dynojet..
