Is the BR 2.4 LR still a high hp and high rev (9000 rpm) build ?

4g64 2.4L is usually built with 150 mm rods for a r/s ratio of 1.5
4g64 2.4 LR is usually built with 156 mm rods, for a r/s ratio of 1.56 (1.6) although custom rods are also available in 159 mm and 162 mm improving the r/s ratio.

Because in a high heat and stress engine, you're going to want every bit of protection you can get. It's like the debate about oil coolers. You want to protect your investment.

Regarding the squirters. It's the difference between having a good engine and a great engine. I mean, If you're already in there, take the extra step. Don't half *** it.
edit* However, I do understand, if customers are not demanding it and accept what is offered at the current price point, why bother.

Why would you NOT put oil squirters on a high powered, turbo'd car ? I guess the same could be said for an oil cooler...

If you are going to build a killer motor, why would you not add a simple think like oil squirters for a few more hundred dollars ??? Can a street motor last without them - probably, but is it worth it ???.....

I mean if there's absolutely no benefit to them, manufacturers of nearly all newer high performance engines would not bother installing them.
