Just a couple weeks ago I tried calling, as well as the shop my car is at, to see if they would build a 2.4
They said it would not be anytime soon, if ever at all. Thats not from david, but from one of the other guys at the shop.

nope i know somebody on the forums that asked mike@awd about building him one and he quoted him a price. now its unlisted to be honest but he did offer. I say if you want a 2.4 either go with slowboy or English racing.

I'm going to use a 100mm billet crankshaft, the 2.4 liter block, steel rods and forged pistons.

The goal is to build this engine capable of 900+ hp and 9,000 rpm. I believe using the billet crank and quality parts inside it is possible.

This should produce some great torque and be a hell of an option for street oriented builds who want the most low/mid range they can get.

Anyone out there interested in a build like this? I'd like to get an idea and if someone with a healthy build already wants to bring us a car to install it in, tune it I'd be willing to work out a deal for a test mule.
I would be interested if this same concept, could be applied to building a 2.3L 4g63 ?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the AMS 2.3RR is a no expense spared 4g64 block. I'm just wondering if DB had the opportunity to replicate this same build with the 4g63 2.3L stroker, could you expect similar results ?

new cams went in, made the same power it did as before but this time on 93 only, instead of 93/racegas.

AEM is going in it in a week or so. Move to SD and finish off the build.

fun to drive.. i wont lie...

What's your rev limit on your set up ? Are there any plans to run a bigger turbo ?

I've built a few more 2.4's and am now building long rod versions only. Mike at AWD has one I just finished custom for him and a customer. I am awaiting results from him actually.
